ChiaoGoo Twist Shorties Stainless Steel Interchangeable Set, 2-inch and 3-inch 5 and 8cm Mini 7230-M

When I was in college, like a decade ago...., I never could understand why the girlie pops in knitting club were obsessed with Chiagoo. I mean they would excitedly save through semesters and talk non-stop (an exaggeration) about getting Chiagoos. I totally get it now. Once you know the feeling of luxury in your hands, there is no going back. I was worried that the small needles were going to wreck my battered hands but no extraordinary pain here. I bought these with the intention of becoming a sock knitter. Jury is still out on if that's going to be the case for me but I feel like a knitting machine compared to when I've knitted socks on magic loop. You know I'm sure there's a time and place for ML, but I have not enjoyed using that technique as it stops my "flow". I've been using the shorter needles on the 5" cable and it's just so dreamy. My stitches glide flawlessly over the joins. I have the 5" interchangeable needles sizes 2-15 but after buying these...I'm considering getting shorties in sizes 3-15. Love, LOVE, LOVE these babies. Worth every penny.

I absolutely love my ChiaGoo Twist Lace. It took some getting used to, but now I can't do with out this needles. If you knit toys and other small items, this needles are amazing. I have arthritis and this needles work just fine.

I needed the cables and other parts to go with tips and this was cheaper then to buy all that stuff individually and to later buy some of the tips separately. But would of like this better if it would have included 1.2mm and 1.75mm sizes also or the us 00 and us000 sizes then they would be a perfect set for the shorties. I need the 1.75mm right now for a project and sets with those 2 sizes are either 4inch long or 5 inch long tips. so I had to order tips 2 and 3 inch separately so I can do arms and use these cords, stoppers, and extenders to do body with set of the 4 inch and it cords and extenders. Not sellers fault but ChiaoGoo"s fault no sets in nice carrying pouch has the 2 and 3 inch US 00 and US 000 in its set like this.
