Chicago Cutlery Essentials 15-Piece Kitchen Knife Set with Wood Storage Block and Kitchen Shears

OK I received this set which I might add I was quite impressed with just the weight and look, these knives are extremely sharp and will look good on your counter. I began using them immediately slicing through flank meat (U know how tough that can be) was like slicing through butter :) so I tried 3 of others on the same meat no one will have any trouble cutting their meats or other products with these knives (take care of them) then I took hold of the cutting scissors to make special cuts of the meat absolutely a piece of cake. I highly recommend this set which after doing some research they are an excellent value (low cost 4 what U get) Bonus! so if your looking for a good sharp set that looks good too go get these or as a gift anyone should love having this set.

I must say that this is absolutely the most Elegant and useful Knife Set I've ever seen. There is a Knife for every purpose you might have. The Knives are sharp and very well made and should last a lifetime. There is also the lovely set of Steak Knives that will look stunning with any table setting and preform admirably. There is also the Kitchen Shear Scissors which will cut up Chicken or anything else you want to cut with them. They are sharp and sturdy and accurate; which is something you want to be able to depend on when cutting meat, or anything else. One of the most favorable things about this set is how very rich and beautifully it displays the Knives and everything is so easy to access. It really doesn't take up much space at all. It is so attractive that you'll want to display this set and it's so decorative it will enhanse any decor you may have. If you have Friends or Relatives (or anyone else) that you would like to give a very special gift to, this is a very impressive and thoughtful gift for anyone that cooks! Even people with their first apartment or home would truly appreciate this gift. I would recommend this "Knife Set" to anyone. I am a Cajun Chef, (retired) and also a Decorator and this not only something that would fit into any Kitchen decor, it is something that will be used for a lifetime by anyone that cooks at all!

I love my knife block. It is nice and sturdy. I love the nice tan color, it fits the color combination great. I like the way the knife form fits my hands. I have a good grip while I am using my knives. They are nice and sharp and ready to use. They are nice and firm while I am using them. The holiday is right here and now I am ready for the cooking season. Very Nice. I will tell everybody about them and it will be good.

I've had the pleasure of trying the Chicago Cutlery Knife Set 15 piece block set. I love this set of knives, the variety allows me to have every different type of knife I would need in my kitchen. The blades are made of stainless steel with handles contoured for the users comfort. The wood block is perfect for storing and protecting my knives at the same time. The set includes a 7 inch Santoku, 8 inch bread knife, 5 inch Partoku, 4.75 inch utility knife, 4.5 inch fruit knife, 3.5 inch Paring knife, 3 inch Peeler, (six) 4.5 inch steak knifes, a set of Shears and a Wood Storage block. The back of the box has a very nice diagram that explains the use for each knife. I have had the opportunity to use all of the different knives included in this set and am very happy with their performance. The knives are all very sharp. The perform exactly as expected and wash well. I would recommend this product to my family and friends. It would make a wonderful and thoughtful housewarming gift.

I DIDNT REALIZE HOW DULL MY OTHER KNIFE SET WAS UNTIL I STARTED USING THIS SET. AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE SHARPNESS, DESIGN AND THE WEIGHT AND BALANCE IN MY HANDS.

I gave this to my son as a gift for his first apartment and the knives are sturdy/durable. I love that they can be sharpened. For the price they look and work like professional cutlery

Best block set of knives for the price, no rust, sturdy blades, they sharpen easy, this will last 20 years easy. For those who see rust on any set of knives, never let blades sit in water, wash them, wipe them off, put them back in the block, or wherever you store them.

FedEx dropped it off and it was wet and soggy with no rain in site. Box was taped up A LOT but the items were inside, thankfully. Unsure if FedEx ruined the box or I received someone else's return that the seller repackaged back up. Keeping because all items were inside.

I bought a Chinese set from Costco rated extremely high carbon stainless 15 pcs (Kuisine) was on sale for 23$ now higher . A great set and so sharp it cut you if not careful. Much better than those 100 dollar sets. Ratings worked as described .
