I haven't gotten to use this cup yet as we are still working on transferring to a cup we're currently using the soft spout cup which he loves I just know this cup will be great for him as well!

Easy to hold and clean .. baby loves it

This is not only the best leak proof cup we have tried, but pretty much the only one my daughter will drink out of now. And my daughter is PICKY!! She refused to bottle feed (we tried over 30 different kinds and brands!!), and would only breast feed. When it came time for her to start using a cup, we were really worried about it after she refused to drink from several types, until we found this one. Recently the inner seal broke on ours while my wife was washing it, so we had to buy another set. Yes, my WIFE broke it- not our daughter, whom has thrown and slammed it hundreds of times and it has withstood for over a year. My daughter looked like it was Christmas getting her favorite cup back!! When presented with her new cup, she literally threw her backup cup to the ground and it broke and leaked everywhere. Can't say enough how great these are!!

UPDATED Review I was given the opportunity to test out the Chicco Semi-soft Spout Trainer Cup in blue/green as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.  This is our second child and we have already gone through MANY sippy cups with the first.  We absolutely love it!  My daughter is 14 months old and we've been using it for almost 2 months.  She never took to the bottle so I wasn't sure how she would do with the sippy, but no problems at all getting water out.  The easy grip handles are great for busy hands that can't focus yet.  (I love that I can remove them when it's time to move on.)  The cup is clear so I can see the amount in the cup and it is so easy to clean - just throw it in the dishwasher.  Once out, it's just as simple to reassemble by replacing the silicone gasket.  We haven't had any problems with leaking.  As my baby is cutting new teeth constantly, I appreciate that the spout is soft enough for her to be comfortable yet isn't mangled from toddler bites.  The cup included a simple catalog that showed other Chicco products in this line - all the tops will fit so it would be easy to mix and match. 

I recieved this cup as part of the Stellar product testing panel, and I absolutely love it! I've tried other cups that are spill/leak resistant, but this is the only one that hasn't leaked at all. My little girl is not gentle with it, and it has still maintained its integrity. The bite resistant spout has survived my little girl cutting 4 teeth at the same time. This is seriously my favorite cup, and I would recommend it to any parent.

I was able to receive these cups through the Stellar product testing panel. The thought out design of these cups is amazing. I have a child that likes to bite the spout of cups out of habit. My child was easily able to drink from this cup which is not always the case with other cups. This cup appeared effortless for my child to sip through. The first cup I was sent did leak. The company contacted me and the customer service was next to amazing. They attempt to troubleshoot and if that's not the issue they go above and beyond. I was sent a new set of cups and shipped my old cup back so that the company can take my cup to see why it leaked. I think that's pretty amazing on the companies part in trying to get the design and functionality right. My second set of cups has not leaked thus far. I love these cups and would recommend them to all parents that have children who are spout biters.

My little enjoyed using this cup fine as a trainer cup. The spout for the cup was a bit hard at first for her liking since she's so used to chewing things, but once she got the hang of it, she enjoyed it! The cup did not leak or spill which is always a plus. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting us try out this cup!

Little to large to hold but great for teething

We were lucky to try this trainer cup thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My son is not familiar with a spout cup since he only uses straw cups but he was able to use this trainer cup right away! It is great for when we're on the go and when he's sitting on furniture because it doesn't spill easily. I would like if the lid attached because we misplace it often. I also wish it came in a non-plastic option.

I received the Chicco Semi-Soft Trainer Cup through the Stellar Product Testing Panel to test with my son, who is about a year and a half. Overall, it's a decent sippy cup for little guys! The handles make it easy for my son to tip the cup and drink. He does use mostly straw sippy cups, so it did take a bit of practice to tip the cup just right to drink. This cup comes with a top, however, we don't really us it much because it's not attached to the cup and would be easy to lose. The cup does leak out of the spout a bit if its knocked over (my lil guy loves to knock his cups over). Over all, it's an OK cup. I think we will stick to the straw cups, but for the lil ones who prefers the spouts this would be a decent choice!
