Dislike the crotch padding, it's a great car seat and it reclines back to where you don't have to worry about your baby's head flopping forward and cutting off air flow. I highly recommend this seat as it's easy to install and it's comfortable for babies

The next day after we installed this my partner got into an auto accident with a driver that did a hit and run and also caused my partner's car to roll over. My son came out of it without any issues and didn't cry either. God was truly watching over him and my family and I can also thank Chicco for providing a very safe car seat.

First time around, it takes a while to sort through all the configurations, read all the decals and get it installed correctly.

The thing that scared us the most with car seats was making sure we were installing them correctly. This one couldn't have been easier! It took my "I don't like to read instructions" husband one time to get it right as I was watching the videos behind his back. This car seat looks great and we love all the features to make it safe and simple for our little girl!

This car seat is great for people who have larger vehicles/ or only 1 car seat. I have a 2019 Camry and it's a nightmare to install. For my vehicle it's very bulky. We have another one on the way now and my keyfit35 and the fit4 adapt cannot fit in the back seat next to each other. And one on each side is not an option as I have an 11 year old too. I'm gonna have to get a different car seat for now until both my little are in a “big kid” car seat. Most likely even flo slim. I also don't understand that the tether to loosen the straps is so hard to deal with.

Overall we really like this car seat. Our son seems very comfortable and enjoys it. However, I have two specific things others should be aware of: First, we noticed the straps are very difficult to loosen. I've found if you can pull them straight out and away from your baby's chest, rather than a downward angle, it helps. Second, the stage 2 layer needs some work. It's not very soft, and does leave circular imprints on our son's skin, but it doesn't seem to bother him. However, cleaning it is extremely annoying. It has layers of holes or netting, so getting crumbs out is so so difficult, I ended up just giving up. I'm hoping it doesn't start to smell over time with trapped food. Even though we like the car seat, for that fabric alone we would not purchase it again.

Really great car seat. Have purchased many Chicco products. The straps are really hard to loosen because the button is in an awkward place when the seat is facing backwards. Hopefully they will loosen up after some use. Still love the seat. So does my 8 month old granddaughter. Would recommend.
