Chicco NextFit Max ClearTex Convertible Car Seat - Reef (Navy)

Good seat with no added flame retardants for a good price. Lots of room for child and very comfy. The harness is well designed.

Have a secondary seat and i could be happy either can the kiddo with all the space. I've read a lot of complains about the fabric piling but since its a secondary seat i wouldn't be able to comment on that yet.

These are the sturdiest, most solid car seats!! Love them!! We've bought at least SIX to date for our grandchildren, including ones for our vehicle! We've replaced other car seats, ones those that were not expired or broken! Other seats cannot compare!!

It's a good seat. Main complaints are that the straps don't have anything to hook to hold them off to the side when you're putting child in, so you have to dig underneath them after they are seated to get straps out. The fabric is already showing signs of wear after only one month of light use - pilling, snagging, etc. That's disappointing and can only imagine how its going to look after a few years of use.

My toddler is very tall so the extra leg space for rear facing is perfect. And this car seat seems so comfortable for her. It also feels safe for my toddler. My only complaint is when I put my toddler into the car seat, I find it difficult to move the straps out from under her and over her shoulders. And I struggle to find the buckle from underneath her legs. Other than that , we love this car seat.

Overall I like the car seat. Two things I would have liked 1: for crotch to stay out. It always falls back and I have to pull it out from under my little one. Also would like one more adjustable option for crotch strap. 2. Would have loved for the max clear to come in zip style too, for easy cleaning.

We bought this for when we have our grand daughter over and love the flexibility. It's a little larger and heavier than we thought but works well. It is high quality and easy to adjust.

I bought these car seats after our older Chicco car seats were involved in a car accident. I bought them because they advertise an extended fit for your child. However, this car seat is SHORTER. The height at its tallest is too short for my four year old who is big for his age. Also, the sitting area is smaller. The area between the back and the bottom buckle is closer compared to the Chicco next fit zip. I feel mislead by the advertising of this car seat and am unable to return them because I no longer have the original packaging. To be clear this car seat provides more leg room, less height, and less depth. What is the point of more leg room if the rest of your body doesn't fit?

I bought this seat for my daughter just before she turned 1 & absolutely love it my daughter looks so much more comfortable in this seat then her previous seat (graco extended2fit) the extended rear facing limit was a must when looking for a seat. This model really needs to come back! 100% would purchase again!

I bought one for my son three years ago. It is my favorite seat so far. When my daughter outgrew her key fit I ordered a one fit and don't like it nearly as much. The shell of the next fit was much nicer and I feel as though my son has a more comfortable seat. The one fit is just awkward and my daughter can get her legs in the spaces of the seat. As a loyal chicco customer, I wish they would bring back a next fit with clear tex!
