I was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the price, but when I received my first one, I saw that the quality of the dispenser box was impeccable. It is very sturdy and easy to use the plastic wrap because the box is heavy and does not budge so I do not get that plastic wrap Random clinging to itself. I bought a second one for our . This does come with a huge role of their own plastic wrap, and I found that the quality of the plastic wrap itself is better than the name brands. I love the variety of colors on the boxes and I can actually do everything right on the box with one hand. Absolutely turned out to be a good purchase and value for money.
This make using plastic wrap so much easier. No more throwing wrap in the trash because it stuck together.
I didn't know that I would love this product so much. This plastic wrap holder makes using plastic wrap so much easier. I love the way it looks on my counter.
I bought this as an "impulse buy" from the place I work part-time. I was getting really frustrated with the "cling wrap" I had at home. The roll was constantly busting loose from the box, especially as I would get closer to the end. And even though the "store-bought cling wrap" has little tabs at each end that you're supposed to press in to make it easier to rip, it didn't really help very much. I happened to see this Chic Wrap as a new product we were selling, and I decided to go ahead and purchase it. And I am SO glad I did. In fact, I am going to get myself the aluminum foil and parchment paper dispensers - even though I've never once used parchment paper...now I want to! I ordered an aluminum foil dispenser for my dad, as well as the gift box for my grandmother. This stuff is awesome and easy to use - and yes, I HAVE cut myself on the teeth of the store-bought stuff. Ow! I also love the patterned dispensers Chic Wrap has.
Easy to assembly, sturdy, and super cute. I look for excuses to use plastic wrap now. No more fighting with wrinkled wrap or sharp cutting edges of boxes or trying to roll, tear and keep it in the box. There is also less waste because you can more accurately measure what you need. So glad I made the switch!
For the first time in my life, I am in love with my plastic wrap. Finally, an easy and inexpensive way to control plastic wrap, foil and parchment paper. Life is hard enough why fight with your plastic wrap. I wish I had this years ago. I intend to pass mine down to my children. lol
I used to have a WrapMaster cling wrap dispenser, but the latch to keep it closed broke easily, which made it unusable. And now they seem to no longer make the cling wrap model, so I've been looking for a cling wrap dispenser for months since every brand of wrap bought at the market comes in the flimsiest, worst quality boxes possible which makes them hazardous to use. The Chic Wrap is a pleasure to use, plus it looks great. The wrap itself is of satisfactory quality so I'll definitely buy the refills.
No more hassle with plastic wrap clinging to me instead of whatever I want to cover. No more scraped fingers getting wrap out of the box. No more trying to find the end of the wrap when the roll "jumps" out of the box. Just pull out what you need and slide the cutter to slice it off! I ordered several to give to friends and they are just as thrilled. Thank you for making life easier.
I can't overstate what a fan I am of ChicWrap. I've been using the plastic wrap, foil, and parchment dispensers for a few years. They make my kitchen life so much less frustrating. They are all still in tip-top condition, although I did have to replace the slide on the plastic wrap dispenser (the adhesion could be more robust). Bu now I press down along the length of the the slide after each use, and I haven't had any more trouble with adhesion. I have gifted many ChicWrap dispensers to friends and family, and everyone has the same reaction: How can such a low-tech tool make such a huge improvement in the kitchen experience.
I was excited to receive my ChicWrip and started using it to cover foods after the Christmas dinner. The problem is that the plastic roll has a large divit at one end, so as you pull the plastic out, it tears on a diagonal as you pull and you end up with sort of a triangle piece of plastic wrap....not good. I'd love it if you folks would send me a new roll, blemish free.
