Caution!!! Not a writing desk
I bought this from another source.... Wanted a writing desk and this is not it. The top is made of rough boards glued together. You cannot write/draw on it without having another surface on top of it. The one I received arrived with the top warped and unusable. Overall quality is fair. It is solid wood. All visible surfaces are rough rustic wood as seen in the photos. Can't attest to the final assembled construction because I never put it together, but it is assembled with dowels and screws. A Google reviewer commented that the wood split when screwed together.
