It came a little nicked and scratched which I suppose has to do more with shipping than with manufacturing, but the reason for the 4 is because you have to screw the name piece yourself and the directions don't explain which way it goes - so now I'm looking at this post and realized I did it wrong bc the name shows only in stool mode and not in chair mode.
