ChimneyFree Rolling Mantel with 3D Infrared Quartz Electric Fireplace, Caramel Birch

I live in Florida and refuse to have the gas turned on just to run the furnace. We normally only have about a month of cold nights in the 30's and 40's so I have been using radiator heaters. I have wanted an electric fireplace and saw this one that said it heats a thousand square feet. My house is 1'100 sq ft so I use one radiator heater and this together and my house already went up 2 degrees. The only issue I have is it doesn't have a lock setting but that's my own fault for not reading the description better. The fake fire is nice with 5 flame speeds. My son loves watching it. It feels cozy just watching it.

Although the heater is made in China, the operating manual is clear and well written. It also has a listing of replacement parts. It has a very nice cabinet, is heavy and very well made. The flame effect is very realistic and has adjustments for brightness and speed. There are no heat setting other than temperature, but the thermostat maintains room temperature within about 1 degree of setting. The heater blower provides a gentle breeze and is quiet. However, if it were very cold, I doubt that it would be able to maintain room temperature if it was the only heat source. The top and side of the cabinet near the heater and the wall behind get slightly warm during operation but the metal grill in front gets very hot and could cause a burn if touched. Protection devices detect overheating, thermostat failure and power cord overheating. It will operate from a standard 15-amp receptacle, but no other loads should be supplied from the circuit. So far, I am very well pleased with the appearance, construction and operation. A very good price for a well-built product.

This little unit works better than my larger one. The timer is convenient and it worked straight from the box. Unboxing/Setup to turn on was less than 10 minutes. It took us a couple hours to assemble my other unit. This is a great price if you're needing supplemental heating. The only con is the cord colorful and my outlet is out in the open. Placed at the end of a long hall, this quickly knocks the chill out of the bedrooms and bath in an older rental.

It has 5 levels of flame height intensity and 5 levels of flame speed. Also has a thermostat to keep it at a certain temperature. Also, had automatic shut off between 30 minutes and 9 hours. Comes assembled very nice woodwork- quality - on wheels for easy moving to other rooms. Only one thing slightly negative I would say is the remote is very wide. I think they couldve made it less wide so its easier to hold. All and all I love it! Sets the mood ImSets the mood ambience. Great for the holidays and winter season. Use with or without heat.

Love this! I read reviews before purchasing still was iffy how hot it would heat up our living room but let me tell you we have a 1000sq foot appt and it heats up the whole house. We have to actually put it on a timer so it doesnt get too hot... I would def recommend!

I got one for my bedroom to use before putting on the heat in the house (desert nights can get pretty cold). My daughter saw mine and loved it, so we had to order her one. Thinking about Christmas coming, I decided to get one as a family gift for my granddaughter and her family, too. SO, that is 3 of these sold since they really are so very nice. I have mine near my sliding glass doors and the temp there drops more than the room, so setting it at the 62 setting works fine to keep the room in high 60's or low 70's. I love that the fire flicker and height can be adjusted and be on without heat, as well.

Very satisfied. Provides enough heat in our huge basement which we use as our 2and family room and TV room. Using the remote control, you can adjust the temperature and the intensity of the flames. A lot better than using 2 small heaters to warm up our basement. I do recommend this product.

I had gone to the store to buy a different one, but they were out of stock and I was upset because the website said they were in stock in the store. But then I saw this one and it was the last one. I snapped it up and took it home. It is WAY nicer than the one I had originally gone to buy, so it worked out in my favor. It really compliments any room and any decor, the flames look pretty real, and the heater works GREAT! It has a remote control as well as controls on the unit itself, and you can adjust the flame intensity and speed, and there is a timer that you can set to shut everything off automatically. It also has a 'safe' plug, which is a plug that will automatically shut the unit off if the plug gets hot enough, preventing a fire, and will reset after it cools. The cabinet is really well made, and it has casters so it is very easy to roll it around wherever you need to move it. This would make a PERFECT upgrade to an camper, it's small and portable enough that it would fit right in and cost far less than an RV electric fireplace. I definitely recommend this product!

Small and the fire is not quite as nice as what others had said it looks. I do not like that you can see the heat coil coming on and off, takes away from the fire feeling. Is on the loud side when you have the heat on due to the circulation fan pushing the heat out.

This is a beautiful space heater but doesn't heat a room well enough that I would purchase another. For a small room....it's appropriate and the ambiance is wonderful. If you're going to be sitting or standing close to the unit....it's warm....but if you expect this unit to warm a room....not so much.
