When I lived in Guam many restaurants served this tea. I'm glad my brother in law found it in his Walmart. Mine doesn't carry it and glad I could order it online.
A noodle restaurant in Denver used to serve this all the time. I would frequent the restaurant once a week because I loved the tea so much. I would often say they had the best tasting iced tea in Denver. A few years ago they replaced the tea with, honestly, a tasteless iced tea. I may visit the restaurant twice a year now. I'm so glad I found this tea on walmart.com. This is restaurant quality iced tea. I'd love to open a restaurant just to serve this iced tea. Some flavored teas almost taste like perfume or flowers. Not this tea. This is a perfect balance between black tea and the passion fruit.
I love, love, love this tea. The fruity/flowery aroma and flavor are unusual and a nice change of pace from everyday teas. Very refreshing. And I really like the large bags - each one makes a half gallon of tea and that is much easier than having to tear open 8 or 10 individual tea bags to make a pitcher full.
The process was fast and easy and super simple to pick up in the store. I love this product and will definitely order again.
I got the brand name from a restaurant manager where I always order this tea. I have tried others and they taste much too floral-like. One even tasted like I was drinking perfume! This is the tea that I like and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I have tried other iced passion teas, but this is now my favorite. Perfect blend of black tea with just the right amount of passion fruit. Makes the house smell good too.
I drink iced tea more than any other beverage, I order it every time I dine out, and I ONLY drink fresh-brewed Iced Tea (NEVER, EVER from a soda machine or soda gun, that stuff is instant and sucks!). So, I consider myself a Tea connoisseur! Long story short, I've noticed that certain higher-end chain restaurants (ie. Cheesecake Factory, Claim Jumper, Yard House, Islands burgers, Lucille's smokehouse bbq) serve delicious passion fruit iced tea. So, I ask them what kind of tea they serve. Some places will tell you, others like to keep it a secret. But alas, you only need to remember two words: China Mist! Now I easily brew 2 quarts of fresh, delicious restaurant-quality iced tea at home, and Walmart currently sells China Mist for the best price I've found (I've previously purchased from an online retailer that rhymes with blamazon, but Walmart's price is better! Be forewarned: once you try China Mist (or Shangri-La) passion fruit iced teas, you'll never enjoy "instant" iced tea from a soda-gun again! You've been warned!
China Mist Passion Fruit Iced Tea has a great flavor and Walmart has the best price. It is expensive considering that each box has four tea bags to make 2 gallons total (so over $2.40 per gallon). Even so, I enjoy it so much better than straight black tea.
I first tasted this in the café of West Point Market in Akron, Oh. The international gourmet store. They stock only the best products from all over the world. It is the best tea I have ever tasted! I had to pick it up for use at home. This price is the best I have found. It is what I make at home to impress friends and I bring it to bring-a-dish functions. I only wish I could find it on the the Shelf at my local Arlington Rd. store.
Love the taste, but did not realize until I bought it that it contains "natural" AND "artificial" (!) ingredients. Does not specify what those artificial ingredients are, but that is not something I want to drink on a regular basis.
