why not spend the money and enjoy your meal! Your guests will appreciate you went the extra mile. If you want to cut back, do it on the dessert plates, but not the bbq!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I have a big plate of spaghetti and I'm serving it to my kid, I need a disposable plate I can trust. Chinet provides me with a good sturdy surface that I can trust to hold heavy loads of food. I love to cook but nobody likes to cleanup after and these Chinet plates make it so cleanup is a breeze. These plates hold an entire meal with ease. I can cut a steak on them with no cutting through the plate. Sauces and creams are no problem either, they don't bend or leak with viscous foods. I love that they are perfect for any occasion but most of all they are COMPOSTABLE! Yes, completely biodegradable and I throw them with the leftovers into the compost bin. This alone makes me a love these plates, because in today's world it's important to be a part of a sustainable solution.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Chinet classic white paper dinner plates are better than my old ones. It's bigger and sturdier. It's not so thick though but I like its construction. It doesn't absorb water so quickly. It can carry lots of foods and is perfect for my family of 5. I find this set great during occasions and if there are lots of guests at home. Im happy with it.
I just bought a new bag of these plates because I only had a few left from a bag I bought a couple of years ago. Wow, has the quality gone downhill. The new bag of plates are flimsy and have wrinkles in them. The bottom no longer has the reinforced texture, they are now smooth. Unbelievable, will look to purchase other brands before spending the money on this junk.
I have used Chinet products for years! Both in my camper and in my house as we do a lot of entertaining. This last package of dinner plates I bought are complete garbage!! They leak through where we have had to double up the plates (never had this issue before), they look warped, like bubbles.. just totally disappointed. I won't by Chinet again
I USE to love Chinet plates. They were sturdy, and pretty. They WERE the perfect paper plates. The Recycled dinner plates now look dirty and used. With spots or brown marks, and what appears to be grease stains. I have bought multiple packs over the past six months and without fail most of them will be unusable. Chinet is a family tradition That now has to be changed due to poor quality. Pictures are from a brand new bag I just purchased an hour ago on 12/20/23. I pulled the top six plates and the pictures below show you what they look like
I have been purchasing these plates for many years years now, and I have to say I an very disappointed lately. For the past year, I have noticed that they do not have the same durability they use to. They plates have marks on them, they rip/tare super easy and if there is liquid in your food, it does seem through. For the price of these products, which have go e up considerably, they should have been better quality. I have came to a hard decision, but going to start purchasing a different brand feom now on.
I have been buying the 10 1/2 in chines dinner plates for years and have always been happy with them. The last couple of times I have purchased they are not the same quality. They leak and the paper peels and gets into food.
I have been using these plates for many many years. No in the last year chinet plates are thin, bent out of shape out of the bag, don't have flat surface on the entire center and more importantly they soak through and change shape with the least amount of moisture. Why did you ruin something made the same way for who knows how many years?
Have been buying these for years—the last few months these arrived looking stained (like grease stains) and just dirty. The last ones look like someone drove over them & the sides aren't even cut completely. What happened to your quality?? Very disappointed.
