My grandson and I put this together. There was 2 places where the screws were a little off and we needed to put a little more effort to make the holes line up, but in the end it turned out very sturdy and is very beautiful! I bought it for my daughter who has 4 very busy kids and needs all the storage she can use. Will use it to sit on in living room and just put stuff in

The package arrived on time and when unpacked only one piece had a small dent. It is on the back side of the unit, so is not a big deal. The pieces on both ends appear to be substitutes as they are rounded corner squares instead of having cut out short legs. The hardware included two spring pieces for the lid, but there were no holes drilled into any of the pieces for attaching them and the frame around the springs was taller than would have fit inside the chest lid. They were not needed as the regular hinges from the previous step provided adequate support to open and close the lid. Other than those issues the unit was easily assembled in under an hour with two people. The cushion is a very ugly gray, but I will be recovering it to match my decor. The shelves are easily adjusted and can hold 6 or more pairs of shoes. The side without shelves is easily accommodating two purses. The under seat storage can accommodate gadgets, collapsible umbrellas, etc. Overall a good deal at under $60.

Some of the pieces sent didn't match the picture on the website. One of the "X" on a door was unglued and had to be glued prior to being use. Many of the holes were not pre-drilled and we had to drill them prior to putting together. One of the hinges was not functioning properly and took several tries/attempts to make it finally work. One of the doors doesn't stay shut despite being installed properly. This was the 2nd one of these we have ordered and were much more pleased and happier with the original one, which is why we decided to purchase a second one for another room in our house. Kinda disappointed with the second one, especially for the price and the issues we encountered.

I bought this shoe storage bench to place in my entryway. When I purchased the bench, I paid to have it assembled. The assembly was reserved through Angi. I'm so glad I did as I wouldn't have been able to do it by myself. It was a great price on sale, perfect size for my space. I would have given it a 5 star rating but the seat cushion is thin. (I plan to buy a thicker foam piece from another store that will also apply a cover. )The cushion that came with the bench does have velcro on the underside so that it wont slide around. I like the storage space under the cushion in addition to the storage accessible by the doors. Overall, I recommend it as was a great purchase price and meets my needs to have guests sit to remove shoes or put on shoe covers

Easy to assemble, sturdy , it's a great bench for afterschool back packs and shoes.

The bench is very good looking.It was sort of easy to put together, but at the same time, confusing, the sturdiness is well had a few parts missing.But overall wasn't a big deal.The only thing I think that we have a problem with is the fact that it's very narrow with putting your shoes in and doesn't have a lot of space for the shoes other than that.It's comforting sitting on it and convenient!!

Bench looks great but it's low quality. When I was assembling the white paint was coming off easily and the screw placement was not accurate at several spots.

the front of the doors looks like they were damaged and somebody tried to just paint over the damage.

Panel%231 has holes drilled in the WRONG places on one corner. Had it at least halfway assembled before I realized it did Not align at that corner. Had to take a lot of it apart to figure out the problem, All drill holes on one edge are 1/4%23 off! No phone number to contact seller. I emailed them at the email address provided, with photo attachments. Waiting to hear back from them. Product is all over my kitchen floor!
