Stopped bag squeezing leaks

Love this product, my son cannot get the cap off and make a mess with his squeeze pouch no matter how much he tries. The cleaning is very easy, I have a bottle brush with a detachable nipple cleaner that's silicone that I used. It fits almost every single pouch that I put it on, the smaller pouches like go squeez applesauce pouches are a little tricky though.

It does great for stopping the spills I give it that. however my 11 month old just yanks it off and pours the pouch out anyway and she hates the way the cap flops into her face or chin while she eats which is why she rips it off. so not really working as intended and it doesn't fit half the pouches in the market bc they keep changing the packaging of the pouches

Not sure if I received faulty ones, but these do not work. When putting them on a pouch, even if I try to use them no food comes out. I've noticed that there are no holes within the top to allow food to come out. Didn't see anywhere where it said to cut slits into the top or anything, so assuming this is faulty.
