I used to have to buy a new can opener almost every other month because my husband would somehow break them, (He doesn't know his own strength). These can openers are seemingly indestructible! They completely removed the can lid instead of cutting them open which leaves a smooth surface instead of a sharp and dangerous one. Also, just a little strength is needed to accomplish the job. Fantastic invention!

I love that this type of opener provokes my teens to set the can down and not put the strain of the weight of the can on it which usually causes them to wear out much faster. The absence of sharp edges is another important feature. We've had it for a few months now %26 it seems to be sturdy %26 easy to clean.

The handle is easy to turn and the cut is smooth and clean...no sharp edges.
