Problem at first no notification Angie's worker was coming. Because full order wasn't received from shipment yet. The worker was very accommodating and we rescheduled after Walmarts poor Logistics for shipments. They came and installed complete order. Worker was good enough to be patient with Delivery issues.
This service does not actually exist. Walmart subs out to Angie's, where some people who hang Christmas lights have listings saying they charge $200 or $300 to hang your lights. Once you are contacted by these people, the $200 or $300 suddenly becomes $1,000 to $1,500, or more, and nobody is available to hang your lights for less than that. Walmart is complicit in this Christmas lights scam.
Ordered a Christmas light install. The person arrived with no ladder and no tools. We provided some tools and the person didn't connect the lights properly. They then asked if we wanted to buy extra extension cords to make it work. A day later lights are falling down. Rescheduled the appointment and asked if the person would come with a ladder and tools. I was assured that they would. The person didn't have anything available to hang the lights properly. I would not buy this service again.
This service is a scam!! There's a way they hopefully you press a button by mistake. Even if it was simple you will be dealing with Anji and others who will not help you to simply correct an honest mistake. I never could deal with Walmart to help me. I guess anji controls the ability to make customers jump through the hoops that will frustrate you enough to just forget it. That'll cost you at least or over $149. SIMPLE?!!
After SIX different appointments—five no-shows and one contractor who actually showed up completely unprepared to do the job—I finally demanded a full refund. This was, without question, one of the most disgraceful experiences I have ever dealt with. The customer service was beyond awful; it was insulting. Angi's contractor service has left a deep, lasting, and bitter impression on me—one I will not forget anytime soon. And honestly, I should have known better. Based on my past experiences, why on earth did I think this time would be any different?
Lights work perfect, the person from Angi was terrible. I ended up talking to Angi for a refund because I fired the person who came to install and I did it myself
not worth it, the work was not completed, to finish, i had to take care of the trash , had to fix a decoration that was not in the way, didn't have all of the equipment, that it said that the company said the would have, to complete the job,
If you live in Wichita Falls, TX, don't waste your time or money adding an Angi service to your check-out basket. It's simply not worth the time, irritation, %26 disappointment of not having your pro show up at the scheduled time, then the hassles of dealing with their customer service via chat. On their app and website they do not provide a phone number for you to speak to an actual human being. I paid $199 at check-out to have my permanent LED Christmas lights installed. Angi sent me an email telling me what time my professional would show up. Their app assigned me a pro and there's a link that's supposed to allow you to write comments and share pics of the vision for Tiger project with your pro. That link was useless; it always said “error; try back later.” Then there's the contact your pro link to call your pro on the app. Every time I attempted to call (AM/PM for 2 days), I got an automated response saying that “the person you are trying to reach isn't taking calls at this time; try again later.” I went through the hassle of completing a complaint form 2x and going through non-productive chatting with their 24/7 chat customer-service. I finally demanded a refund when they offered to send a 3rd pro. And, no, they do not compensate you for your time wasted, inconvenience, %26 frustration (yes, I asked) I called Walmart customer service. Unlike Angi, Walmart's live person was actually helpful! Though I haven't personally tried calling this number, here's an Angi customer service %23 should you need it: 877-600-3455 I'm hiring my handyman to install these lights…he's way more dependable! And offered me a better price.
I never ordered this! However a man came by and I said to him. i did not order installation, but since you are here and I have been charged go ahead and install them! He said no, I did not bring my tools!! So, he did NOT install my lights!
I paid for christmas light installation and after speaking to 2 installers my lights were not installed. Today 11/24/2025 my sister and I installed our lights ourselves. Now the wait for my refund.
