Chromecast with Google TV - Streaming Entertainment in 4K HDR

I have an older TV model (I believe 2015 or 14) and I love how this chromecast turned it to a smart TV, well, sort of. The remote control is very useful but needed to learn how to use it with the apps, didn't take long though. The initial setup was fully guided and clear I guess even without technical background you will not have an issue following the instructions. You can link your streaming services subscriptions easily and can install other streaming apps, and some games. All in all, I love it

Lovin it So far, they even threw in 6 months of Peacock premium. And a free week of Sling. set up was a breeze. really enhanced my picture quality. And you can hook ear phones or buds to it now via Bluetoof... Better than Cable if you ask me. Awesomesauce

The goods were perfect. But the delivery time was too long. It took almost two weeks to get there from the east coast to the west coast.Besides, why is blue always out of stock? I hope I can buy blue.

This is an amazing streaming device that hooks up to the google home environment, is very speedy and has the responsivness you'd expect from a Google product. I bought several more I was so impressed! Highly recommended!!!

The google tv was an amazing replacement device for my Roku TV. It's fast, easy to use, and has so many more channels than the Roku. The remote is great too,

I bought a Firestick 4K maxx. Didn’t really give me the 4k experience. Did everything to it. So went to the store to go get me a Chromecast and came back home and plugged it in my tv. Omg I have a samsung 4k tv and the chrome cast works better then Firestick. I can watch my stuff clear without cloud.. will get another one for my daughter room tv. I got the blue chromecast. Will never go back to Firestick even if they make 4k max plus. Nope. Thank you chromecast.

This media device is absolutely terrific! I currently use the Nvidia Shield which is known to be the best media device on the market. Compared to this Google TV device, I find it extremely easy to use with a great interface. The only downside is that it only has 8GB of storage, but I was able to load a lot of apps onto the device and still have 1GB remaining. If you're looking for a great and simple device for a media solution, I would highly recommend this Chromecast with Google TV device! Also, the interface is extremely easy to follow and use for both novices and experts.

Other than the price going up almost 4 times since I bought one last year (March 2024 was less than $30 - Now was $110). This is a good product. Mine quit working and I think it was related to the power surges we kept getting. Other than that, I love the option to improve an older TV (2017) that would drag on many different shows. Beats having to look for a new TV and wall mount since I would have to replace the wall mount I currently have too.

Great piece of hardware, works so much better than the older chromcasts However, they followed Amazon's method of serving ads on the homescreen and not providing an easy way to get rid of all of them. Very disappointing.

I absolutely loved my old Chromecast and couldn't wait to get this one set up! Took me over 2 hours to finish the set up, half the time nothing works, just shows a black screen, but you can hear sound, lags worse than anything I've seen before, and doesn't start on the episode you left off on, just starts back at the beginning and doesn't show you have watched anything. I would not recommend spending money on this at all!
