it seems like a small piece of meat, but it is actually large enough to feed a family of four if you put it in the Crock-Pot and you throw some potatoes and carrots and let that Crock-Pot cook. it tastes really good and beefy. when you cook it in the Crock-Pot it comes apart just by using your fork and there are no gristle or fat that you cannot chew. you get everything you pay for I really recommend.

It's lean and I had 2 meals out of it eating healthier. I eat red meat twice a week. No anemia. Hemoglobin is 12.8-13. Next time, I'll slice thin for Fajitas.

Chuck Beef Steak deliciousness

DianeJ April 28, 2026

These canned pickled beets are just as tasty with equal texture as the glass jar pickles beets. Yummo! Skeptical at first but after the bite this cut f beef is delicious.

Not a bad steak at all. It does need to be tenderized, either with a chemical tenderizer (like McCormick's Unseasoned Meat Tenderizer) or by pounding the snot out of it (I prefer the former), but once done and it's allowed to marinate for a bit (4-6 hours), then broiling for 4.5 minutes a side turns out a hot red center steak, perfectly done. I often marinate it in a low-sodium soy sauce or serve it with Knorr's Béarnaise sauce on the side. A green veggie or salad and your choice of carb rounds out a great meal.

Sirloin steak

Loaded with fat…very disappointed with that. Flavor was very good though.

I thought I was ordering a chuck roast which I love when it came. I'm going what the heck why is this so thin and realized it was a chuck roast steak? I panned seared it and very tough piece of meat. Put it in the crockpot for four hours very tough piece of meat. I would never buy a chuck roast steak ever again. The meat itself look good as far as the amount of fat and marbling, but it was very tough. I basically Jew the meat to get the flavor and juice out and took the chunk of meat out of my mouth and put it on the side of my plate.

Came in pieces. Not sure why it was chopped up that way.

I ordered 2 pounds of beef stew meat. What I got was barely one pound and has a big chunk of fat in the center that will have to be cut out. The size is less than half of what I need for the recipe. I don't know what to do with this. It is too small for a roast or stew and not good enough quality to cook as a steak. The person that substituted this made an extremely poor choice. The price is very high for something that I have no use for. If they had sent two, it could be trimmed and make a stew, but that would be nearly twice the cost of the meat that I ordered. Without cutting out the fat this would be an unhealty portion.

This was. Terrible chuck steak. It was over 50% fat and I was very disappointed especially at the price. I bought chuck steak before and it was better than this.
