Chuck Beef Tender Roast, Tray, Fresh, 1.62 - 4.0 lb

So I bought this meat via online. I bought it to make a roast with potatoes and carrots and celery and gravy. It turned out amazing. I did overcook it but that’s because I wasn’t at home because I put it in the crockpot and then went to work, but it turned out amazing tasted still great. My family loved it so I would recommend this type of meat to people who wanna make a roast or a pot roast or even cook it down to beef stew.

I used this chuck roast for Sunday dinner, and everyone loved it. The meat was fresh and had great flavor. After slow cooking for several hours, it became very tender and easy to shred. Makes a comforting meal and the leftovers were just as good the next day.

This roast was excellent, very good. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star on the price is because the price on mist of the meats at Wal-Mart is crazy right now. I uave been actually keeping track and the prices are MORE than doubled what they were. It was a good roast though.

Perfect cut of Beef Tender Roast for two...or three with leftovers! Add some Lipton Onion Soup Mix, a can of Campbells mushroom soup, carrots and small potatoes in the crock pot for about 5 hours on low. DELISH!!! Very convenient, you can start on high heat for about an hour then low for the completion. SO TENDER!! Also makes awesome Pulled Beef Sandwiches or Open Faced.

It gets a 3 star because it tasted good and was tender. I guess my age shows when I am shocked that a $24.00 piece of beef shrinks down to size of a small lady's hand.

This $24 roast initially filled 3/4 of the bottom of the crockpot to reducing to 8 chunks of tough meat. I was shocked. The texture was like a cheap steak. I expected it to fall apart and be tender after slow cooking it. It was a total disappointment.

This roast was pretty. however, upon putting it in the Insta pot to cook like I have done previously 100 times, I had to cook it for three hours instead of 45 minutes even after it was done it appeared to be tender, but when you start to chew it, it was not normal. It seemed to have gotten more and more rubbery as you chew.

I never received it, ordered it, but never received it it wasn't in the bag I know for a fact I ordered it just like I ordered several pizzas I only got three I show no order for that either but I know I ordered them I got three of them but I ordered like five don't I can't find that second order that I added to the first order at all I got some of the items that were on the second order that I added to the first order but y'all are getting bad about not giving me all the stuff I ordered and then when I go to look up the order I can't find it it's nowhere to be found those one of those vitamins I ordered the double pack I paid for a double pack and I got one pack I mean it's just it's getting to where I can't trust ordering it online y'all charge me but I don't receive some of my stuff or either if I do the eggs are broken or cracked or stuck to the carton or it's just it's getting bad it's getting really bad some sometimes I get everything I ordered sometimes I don't but if I'm paying for it and I'm paying it shows more than what I'm receiving and I'm supposed to receive my change back I never get any change back but the bill is always more than what it shows I'm supposed to be paying and I'm on food stamps and I've also got a benefit card but it's just I don't it's just getting ridiculous and I always have to pay cash for the stuff that doesn't that that the benefit card and the food stamps won't cover cuz I don't get enough of them so I'm always paying cash also I don't know I'm just I'm getting tired of this I don't say nothing I let a lot of it slide but I paid $21 for that roast and I never got it it I can't even find it just like I can't find the second order I added to the first order can't find none of that stuff there I did get a few of the items that I ordered on that second order that I added to the first I don't know I don't know what to do quit dealing with y'all I don't know what to do y'all were at but y'all canceled a little tiny potty chair on me well I've never received the change I never received the refund on it and y'all the one that candles it so if y'all canceled it you already taking my money but they always never giving it back and I asked for back two or three different times talk to that stupid AI thing and it's getting harder and harder and harder to get my groceries when I go to pick them up I'm disabled I usually can't go up there and get them so I either I send my fiance up there to get them or my aid and I've sent even my kids up there one or two times but when they come back it's it's either some of the stuff's not there or it's broken or the potatoes are already growing eyes and it's just it's getting ridiculous

Just looking at this roast makes me angry. I was having company and got on the computer too late to change it - - this was a substitution for a good cut - blah! I boiled it for 6 hours and it's sitting in my fridge like a lump. Any cut that has to be boiled one has to be prepared for. If it was tasty (and it may have been) - - - well, I don't think Walmart should decide what cut is a 'substitution' even at the same price. At any price, don't substitute!

This was the worst piece of meat I’ve ever bought. I was making shredded beef so I put it in the crock pot with beef broth for over 6 hours and I couldn’t even shred it because it was still too tough. I will never buy this type of meat from Walmart again.
