The induction elements are a great improvement to the cooking experience. The notification tones for the ovens are distinct and can be clearly heard from a few rooms over (or via the smart things app) without being obnoxiously loud. The flex duo oven was what drew us to this unit. Since receiving the unit, we've used the flex duo as a split oven for large dinners and as a single oven for items a little large for the split spaces. The range does a good job with different temperatures in each compartment. Unfortunately, the range only includes two oven racks. At the price and with the large oven size, an extra rack would've been nice to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I've been abducted by aliens, cause this stove is out of this world! I absolutely love it. It looks gorgeous, sleek, and modern. The induction cook top is great. My old range would take 20 min to boil a small pot of water. This range water starts to boil within a minute or two. It's truly amazing, and time saving. Nice safety feature with the induction cook top if you dont have a pan on the burner and you accidentally turn the burner on, the burner wont start if it doesn't detect a pan. The oven is spacious and cooks evenly. Having the option to use upper oven and lower oven at different temperatures is great. I have to say my favorite option is the air fry option. Cooks fast, evenly, and food turns out amazing. Oven gets up to temp very quick. Another great feature is the smart things intergration. I can start to pre heat the oven from my couch via my phone in the smart things app. It will tell you if the oven is on, or if the oven was turned off. So if you leave the oven on and go to work, you can check your phone to see if you left it on, and turn it off via the app. Which is convenient, and a great safety feature. I also love that the rack is on a track and slides out of the oven, making it a lot easier to pull out a heavy pan. It's the little details like that, that makes this range such a pleasure to cook on. They have really thought of the user and keeping things simple and convenient. The Samsung Flex Duo is packed with great features and is a gorgeous addition to my kitchen. I didn't think i would be this excited about getting a range, but now that i have it, I cant control my excitement. Ive been using it non stop since we received it. Setting it up was a breeze, and operation is simple and straight forward. Now the only problem is trying to figure out what great recipes I'm going to try next. If you are trying to decide weather or not to buy a Samsung range, buy it! You wont be disappointed. I'm in love with my range.

The oven is very large when divider is removed to accommodate large items and conventional bake is super fast to heat up. The cooktop quickly heats up also, boiling water has never been so fast. In addition to its easy-to-use functionality, the oven can be activated and controlled through your phone over WiFi and receive alerts when your meal is ready. The digital display on the stove is a great feature and is very user friendly, My favorite feature is the ability to preset oven to a specific temperature so cooks gets simplified later on. On top of that, the cooktop has multiple safety features that further adds to this product's appeal like a non-stick coating on the griddle that makes easy to clean after every use. To use air fryer you need to remove divider and it is a great addition to this range. There are Infinite ways to do a wonderful meal, the one I have tried is cooking Picanha (top part of top sirloin) on air frier, it is ridiculous how easy and fast this range can help you with all your dishes ideas Overall, this product is very easy to use and a great addition into my home. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to wait a looooooooong time for this to be delivered (thanks, COVID), but it's finally here, and it is everything we hoped it would be. The advantages of induction over electric are numerous. I compared the time to boil four cups of water (cold from the tap) on the most powerful burners on both my electric and induction ranges. For electric, it took 5 minutes, 25 seconds. For induction, it only took 1 minute, 51 seconds! Additionally, temperature changes are extremely responsive. This is something that is similar to gas, but it blows the pants off electric. As we have small children, another big benefit is that the hobs are not molten-lava-hot after cooking. Compared to electric or gas, there are a few disadvantages. The first and most obvious one is that you need compatible cookware. If you are just starting your cookware collection or you have compatible cookware already, this might not be a big deal, but if you spent a lot of money on copper or non-stick cookware, you might have to shell out a good amount of money in addition to an already very expensive range. Secondly, there are no "half stops" between the numbers, so you only get nine levels of cooking. This is frustrating as some of the other models on the market do not have this limitation, and sometimes it can be very difficult to get a simmer going as it goes between "boil" and "hot." Again, not an issue on gas or electric. Finally, there is only one "large" burner, and the next biggest size is still fairly small, so cooking a pot of pasta and making a sauce in a saucepan is hard as the hob is way too small for one of them. The actual double oven is exactly what we expected. The Flex Duo is great, and the temp probe is great for things like a roast or lasagna. Air frying works wonderfully and can save a good amount of time vs. conventional methods. It's weird to me that they did not include two racks and instead only included one rack and one pull out shelf. This makes sense if you are using the Flex Duo divider, but if you aren't, you really need one more rack in the oven. Not a big deal as you can buy another one, but just a weird decision. SmartThings integration works as advertised. I do wish it could be preheated remotely without pressing a button on the front of it, but I understand the reasons for implementing it that way. Overall, a very good range if you can afford it. Hard to find one on the market with more features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, it's not a bad range, but I miss my GE double oven. I have had this for 2 months and I am already tired of sliding the partition in and out as well as moving the racks around; that got old real quick. The upper oven allows you to convection cook only. If I want to bake cookies I must use the larger lower oven. To air fry one chicken breast I must use the larger lower oven. What I had hoped to do was use the upper oven in the same way the lower oven functions. But that's not the case. As far as the induction cooktop, its very good. It has one very large burner and three small burners, it would have been nice to have a medium size burner and two small burners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range works fine so far, but why doesn't the temperature probe work with the upper oven? Why does only one of the stove top elements have the blue running lights? Why does the temperature only start reporting once the oven reaches 175? If you get tired of it beeping at you all the time, and turn off the sounds, it doesn't produce a sound when the timer goes off, or the oven reaches temperature, the only two times that you really want a beep.

The range is sleek looking. Induction cooking function works well. The product has 2 big issues, the smart divider and the fan. Even after multiple bake cycles to clear out the factory smell, the smart divider continues to have an acrid, bitter, burnt smell. I have to take out the divider when using the oven, so I have a single oven instead of the duo oven. The fan automatically turns on and is very loud whenever using the oven. It stays on until the oven cools off. It's hard to have a conversation in the kitchen while the fan is on. Samsung support is a joke. The phone service tells to send a video of the smell. The chat person disconnected me.

the oven does not actually do remote start. the instructions lead you to believe that this functionally will work but it requires physically starting rhe oven. thus any hopes of starting the oven and cooking while you are out is not available. should be called remote monitoring instead.
