Puerto rican bread fresh baked at Walmart is the best thing to happen to bread. Fresh and delicious. Great value
Puerto Rican bread is delicious. We use it as for a sandwiches. We also like to eat it plain as a snack or with a little bit of butter and we will sprinkle everything bagel seasoning sometimes on it. But this is perfect by itself. It's nice and soft comes fresh every single time. Easy to slice.
Excellent bread if you get it fresh great taste little pricey for what you get but I'm willing to pay the price to make a good sandwich I like sweet I am diabetic and I do eat this quite often and it's very very good but like I say for what you get the amount or the price I don't always get to buy it but I do the best I can
The one star rating isn’t the company that supplies the product!is for the Walmart employees packaging the product the plastic bags are too small for the size of the bread and they don’t tie the plastic bags so the bread becomes hard and stale and the taste and quality is not the same also if I’m buying bread I want it fresh made the day of purchase I don’t want to buy something that’s been made the day before others that the bread is amazing
(A) Very soft and fresh. Smaller straight out of a bakery. Toasted well without getting too hard/crunchy with just the right crisp. It was also very delicious just heated/warmed without toasting. Great size, quality and value for the money.
There is not a big difference between the Cuban and PR versions but I think I still favor the Cuban by a little. The loaf I received was longer and thinner than it was meant to be, meaning the long plastic bag was too short to properly seal with a tie wrap. Thus the very end of the loaf, actually both ends, were stale on arrival. Bakers were sloppy, the loaf came out too long for their packaging method. Despite that, the freshness means your mouth will water from the yeasty flavor however you use it. I usually just add butter to savor the tender yeasty freshness but these are ideal for making pressed sandwiches. These crusts are not crunchy as described, they are firm but very thin, satisfying to chew. This is a very light and airy bread. Keep on the counter. Still decent the next day but by day 3 it will be past the quality mark and better for feeding the birds.
Hello, I am writing to make a complaint about a loaf of bread I purchased. Unfortunately, the bread was completely moldy when I opened the package. This is unacceptable, as the product was within the expiration date and clearly not suitable for consumption. I am very disappointed with this experience. I would like a refund or replacement for this product. Please let me know how this issue can be resolved. Thank you for your attention.
This bread was my favorite, but the past two times I buying is old and the taste changed so much definitely not recommend
I have ordered and loved this bread for years. I placed a Walmart order today for home delivery for 4 loaves of the Gidrines Puerto Rican Bread to be delivered and I was shocked. And sickened. The loaves used to be substantial and about 4 to 5 inches wide. The sliced garlic bread was the perfect size. This product has been downsized and is no more than 2 inches wide. When sliced you might have 2 bites unless you make each slice 6 inches long and very thin. Yuck. I am so disappointed but will now be looking for its replacement.
Bread has been good, but molds fast. Now a loaf went up 50 cents. Too much for the trouble as another loaf goes to moldy.
