Gift for my brother-in-law who did not have a place to keep his cigars. He likes being able to see them through the glass and is enjoying how organized his different brands are.

This is a very well-built and beautifully finished product, It came wonderfully packaged and protected. It feels sturdy and heavy-duty. I do not like dealing with distiller water so I opted to use a couple of Bovedas (72%). Very quickly I see a great improvement in the humidification level. Gauge comes in with an included battery but you need to remove the plastic strip. I also placed another gauge to measure/test humidification and both devices were in the 1% range or the same depending on point of time. I would highly recommend it. This beautifully built carbon fiber patterned humidor from Jansfuren is impressive right out of the box! If you're concerned about the seal, it does has a very tight seal, especially after seasoning the wood inside. The entire interior, by the way, does appear to be made of 100% Spanish Cedar as they claim (not just used as a thin veneer over pine wood like many inexpensive humidors are). The digital hygrometer slips in and out easily with just a slight push with two thumbs. However, when placed back in its hole, the silicone-like ring around it keeps the air-tight seal I mentioned. Bottom line: You're getting your money's worth with this model, for sure! Highly recommended : )

Very well put together. Nice and big.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by design and beauty of this humidor! A slight knock for a little spot where the checkering doesn't quite match up on the front, but it's not super noticeable. It feels sturdy, smells amazing, and looks pretty sharp. Shipping was fantastic, plenty of foam around the corners. Comes with a divider. If I were looking to for a gift for a cigar smoker, this would definitely be an option!

I'm a little disappointed with the distribution center if this product because I personally believe it was used and returned even though he packaging was in excellent condition. My battery was already installed hygrometer and after processing the box it doesn't have accurate reading where it should be.
