Cilantro Leaves / Flakes - 1.5 oz ? Non GMO, Kosher, Halal, and Gluten Free ? Dubble O Brand

I usually buy the fresh cilantro but I tried this out instead to save money. Nothing beats fresh but pretty close to it.

I always bought fresh cilantro and dried it out. This has the same taste and so easy to use

I love cilantro so i figured why not try dried and see how it goes. Fresh is a stronger taste but this is good too.

This doesn't seem to enhance flavor at all. There's hardly a scent from it in the jar. In fact, what little aroma there is doesn't come close to fresh cilantro's. For salsa and similar dishes, fresh cilantro is the way to go. If you're cooking with cilantro, I'd advise using fresh and chopping it with a sharp knife to prevent bruising and losing the flavor. 

Was really hoping this could pass for cilantro when fresh was unavailable but sadly it has zero scent and taste even when rehydrated so it's basically just a dish decoration and it's spendy for just that

These flakes seem excessively dried. I sampled some straight from the jar and noticed zero cilantro flavor. It reminded me of that awkward time when a piece of tobacco got stuck on your tongue. I wouldn't recommend these and ended up leaving them out of the dish I was preparing.
