CIPA 49002 HotSpot Mirrors - Stick-On Convex Wedge, 1.5" x 2"

It has to be mounted on the driver's side mirror, as close to the right edge ( car-side ) as possible. Some users have stuck the mirror on the wrong side or the middle of the car's mirror and had disappointing results. When mounted on the "inside" edge of the mirror, it does not block the view of the main mirror but adds a wide angle view of most of the road, and traffic, coming up from behind. The picture shows it mounted on a motorcycle mirror where it is a real life saver. In the picture, the main mirror shows a tree, the wedge mirror shows the actual road behind ... and the tree. The quality of the mirror is very good and "mirror-like". The double-sided mounting tape will work on a clean surface. Clean the main mirror's glass with alcohol and allow to dry before trying to attach the wedge mirror. Why not try different positions on the main mirror BEFORE attaching it, just to demonstrate that the inside edge of the mirror is the right place. I would not bother writing a review except that the bad reviews are invariably from people who put the wedge mirror in the wrong place - where it covers the main mirror's view and is hard to see. Or mount it "backwards". Or on the wrong side of the car ( the passenger side ? ) I have one on my car and one on the motorcycle. Being able to see dangerous traffic coming up behind me, or in the blind spot, has saved me a couple of times. It is not quite like a guardian angel perched on my shoulder, but it is very helpful. Kept putting off this purchase for a long time and I'm glad I finally bought it. The blind spot mirrors keep me safe with a panoramic view of both sides of my car. I feel much safer now with the ability to see everything along side of me and make lane change without second guessing.

I wanted the contour wedges so I could see what was beside me going down the road and this did just what I wanted it to do and was easy to install.

I did not find it on store so it was nice to get at home for same price !

As a snowbird I missed my Washington wegde mirrors. Now where-ever I drive I am safer.

Pretty good mirror which helps to see the blind spots. Would have liked it to be a tad bit wider. Overall appears to be good quality.

I'm assuming this is the same one that used to be carried in the store. Now have to order it. I needed this one to replace another that fell off, I guess due to an adhesive issue. Yes, I cleaned the mirror with alcohol twice before affixing the first one. With any luck this one will stick better, perhaps it is from a different source (yeah!)
