Walmart had this mirror cheaper than Amazon and EBay by ALOT, and had free shipping!!! Mirror is a good cheaper option if you don't want to spend over $100 on a fancy aluminum or Billet mirror. It's good quality and heavy duty. Mount had rubber so it clamps on secure.
Review on the CIPA COMP II Marine Mirror, Black. Very good quality and very fast shipping.
This mirror needs to be mounted on the windshield frame to really be secure, not the Bimini top pole. I was concerned that my form fitted snap on Sumbrella cockpit cover would not be able to snap closed with the mirror obstruction. It worked perfectly, the shaft holding the mirror pivots down out of the way, and the clamp on the windshield is very flat and does not cause an obstruction. The mirror fits great, works great, and since it is now covered when not in use, no UV deterioration anticipated. Would highly recommend this to an friend (and have).
For the most part, this is pretty nice. They included 2 sets of rubber pads. I wished they included a third set even thicker. I did have to shim under the thicker of the two rubber pad sets (I used 3/32" thick cut plastic pieces with double backed tape) to fit my 5/8" thick window frame. Then I trimmed the back of the rubber a little so it would clamp all the way down. I needed to mount it in the corner where the windshield meets the side glass to get a sturdy place where vibration was minimized. I thought the size was good. Worked great in the end.
Works great, nice to see what's behind you out on the water. Easy install, no drilling required and stable thus far. I recommend to anyone looking for a low cost option.
Attached the mirror to the windshield of my boat this past weekend. Easy install and worked fine on my thin pontoon windshield. I would recommend to others.
Its broad viewing surface and easy movability to the perfect spot on our boat windshield has made it possible for my husband to watch the fun the kids bring towed are having.
easy to install and adjust. Not too big and not too small. Good viewing area. Seems well built. But on my boat and have used one day of boating.
A great product at the best price too. Fully adjustable.
Good mirror and clamp works great. When moving on choppy water, mirror does vibrate a bit too much. Bottom line, I can see my skier and the bracket holds well on my window
