This is an excellent addition to my boat. Everything is outstanding about this mirror. It shows the rear of the boat very well. It has a somewhat circular design that is the key to not only looking to the rear but to the side as well. The suction cup allows the mirror to be placed in lots of different locations. The cup holds well as can be expected for a suction cup.
Suction cup works great. Mirror is large and I can see everything going on behind me. It also helps with my blind spot. Mirror is clear, not warped or fuzzy. The only problem with it being so big is that it takes up a lot of room on the windshield. If you have a big windshield that's not a problem. But if you have a small windshield it can block the view outside. I use it as a second mirror to my rearview mirror for the purpose of being able to see my children in the backseats.
Easy to install. Nice and big.
Perfect size and easily attaches to boat eonddhield
was super easy to make this purchase. got it in a shorter time than expected and was easy to PU at the store.
does what it is supposed to do. Suction cup holds better than expected.
The mirror worked great initially. But before long, the suction cup starting giving problems in that the mirror would suddenly fall off without warning. I've tried all the normal things--cleaning the windshield, cleaning the suction cup, etc with no improvement. It now falls off two or three times each week and has even fallen off when the vehicle is stored. I've attached a cord to the windshield and then to the mirror to keep from having an accident when the mirror suddenly falls off. A better suction cup is definitely needed.
Mirror was broken at suction cup pedestal. Metal appeared to be pot metal and had very thin diameter for size of mirror. Returned it and got my money back.
Didn't even get a chance to attempt to install it. The metal connector snapped in half the moment I took it out of the package. What a waste of time and money.
When adjusting this mirror, all the force is transmitted to the poorly made pot metal connector between the suction cup and the mirror. While the rest of the item appears fairly robust, this connector broke while in use for the first time.
