I have used Circulon cookware for 25 years and am still using the pieces I originally bought. I specifically wanted the low side 2 qt. Saucepan and am very pleased with the design and performance of this item. I hope to upgrade my present cookware with more stainless steel clad pieces.
Have every pan from this line. They work great and excellent with my induction stove. I wasn't looking for fully non stick pans so this is exactly what I was shopping for. Performance of a stainless pan but way , way easier to clean. I can't give this line more than 5 stars but I would if I could.
Great wok and is truly non-stick. I like the circular ridges that give more control with pushing food to the side while something else is cooking in the middle. And I like that one of my older Circulon glass lids fits it since it didn't come with a lid. Comes out of the dishwasher like new!
It was time to upgrade my old 12" Sauté pan. I haven't used it yet, but really like the "extreme" nonstick surface, as well as the clad Stainless Steel exterior. The "helper" handle makes it easy to transport from stove to oven. This pan appears to be very well made and should last a long time. It was a good buy and well worth the cost.
Nice pad. Food sticks more than I thought it would. Cooks up very nice and even, which is the important part...
We bought the 10 piece set. Initially, the set was beautiful. Its well built and has a great feel to the pieces. After using them for the first week, i still like them, but struggle with trying to kerp the raised cooking circles clean. Overall, i do like the sst. I hope it lasts.
At first we really liked the cookware. So much so that I bought a second set. But then, reality set in. The problem is mostly with the skillets. Because of the raised, non coated areas things stick. . . badly. As an example: Unless you use A LOT of oil or butter eggs will stick to the uncoated part. It will happen in the sauce pans as well if you aren't very very careful. Sadly I have to buy different skillets. Ended up disappointed.
I don't like the fact that after you cook the sides of of your pan are stained from cooking. And after on the bottom of the pan you can see the stove marks left on the pan from cooking! And no I didn't have the gas burner on high. This why I never wanted to spend alot of money on pans that are advertised as never stick or scratch, it's all misleading!
I have owned these pans for about 2 months now and the only good thing about them is… well nothing. They arrived with the teflon coating on the bottom of pans already scratched due to poor workmanship and the lack of quality control. They advertise as metal safe and the set comes with a metal spatula but I would strongly recommend you do not use it, not only will it scratch the PTFE coating but will gouge it off and those cancer causing particles will end up in your food being that it looks like black pepper flakes. If you're considering this set make sure you only are making soups or boiling water in them, any frying or cooking that involves using pressure to remove stuck food will also result in the removal of the PTFE coating in your food as well. I am so glad I did not throw out my old stainless steel pans, never will I ever recommend these or any product Circulon sells with any variation of Teflon to anyone in good conscience.
The first time I used this pan the food stuck to the pan and even after washing there are places all over the pan that will not come out
