Citracal Petites Calcium Citrate With Vitamin D3, Caplets, 230 Count

After the doctor suggested I take calcium and vitamin D, I did some research and bought these Citracal Petites. I read that if you take acid reducers, calcium citrate is the better form of calcium to take, which is what this product contains (many of the supplements available are calcium carbonate). While these are called "petites" they are not tiny. They are slightly larger than an extra strength acetaminophen caplet. I personally found them easy to swallow because they have a really slick coating. Thank goodness because I normally have trouble swallowing "horse pills". I will buy these again because they didn't make me feel yucky like some supplements do.

After the Caltrate Minis that my ortho recommended were recently discontinued, he then recommended taking Citracal Petites twice a day, which is why I bought them. Too soon to know if they work.

My Dr. advised me to take this exact brand of Calcium supplement because he advised that he thought this had a better quality of ingredients. I found that they had 2 sizes of pills, which is good, because the regular size, I thought, were huge!! I like that Walmart has a larger size bottle of pills for a much better price than I've seen anywhere else!! It's win-win!!!

I take this product on my Dr.'s instructions. I much prefer the "Petites" because of the smaller size. The service through mail order was quick and complete. I compared the prices with several well known mail order pharma sites. Walmart's prices and responsive service was the best. Thanks!

I thought the price was a little high for Walmart but after I checked around, I find that the 1299 I was charged is about the same price within a few pennies that other stores were charging for the Downey This review is for two products the first being the Downey and now the review for the second product is the dove aluminum free deodorant. The scent is good. The scent is good. The quality is good. I think it's a little bit expensive almost $13 for two of the dove deodorant.

Although the bottle says "Petites", I was still surprised at how large these pills were since I have a problem swallowing large pills. These fooled me as they are coated and very easy to swallow without any problems for me. I will buy this supplement for Calcium from now on since it causes me no problems. One of the best things about Calcium Citrate +D3 is that you do not have to wait to take on a full stomach. It can also be taken on an empty stomach. My doctor recommended Calcium Citrate vs. Calcium Bicarbonate because the Citrate is easier on the body and to absorb.

DOSAGE IS MISLEADING. Two capsules "serving" is only 400 mg calcium. So the pills are 200 mg each. To get the doctor-recommended 1000 mg, you have to take FIVE. I take them throughout the day. Having said that, these Petites are MUCH easier to swallow than the typical calcium horse-sized pills. They are smooth and go down easily.

This is not what I ordered. I ordered 650mg tabs . This ordered was substituted with a Similar product different strength . I will try to return this.

Item was never delivered although phone message states otherwise. I went outside 3 minutes after receiving message, but item was not there. I looked outside my garage door, outside by my porch door, in my mailbox, but it was NOT there, I waited 30 minutes longer but no delivery was ever made;

I was extremely disappointed by these because they are huge. The regular calcium pills I got were too big for me to swallow, so I was hopeful to find these petite ones. But as you can see in the photo, the "petite" supplements are JUST AS BIG as the regular ones. I am unable to use these and now can't get a refund. Do not buy these if you have trouble swallowing bigger pills.
