If you want a lego train that has EVERYTHING you need to actually make it move and have fun, then this is the set. $170 is A LOT of money, but compared to the other lego train sets out there, this has the most track, most railroad cars and comes with everything you need right out of the box. The design is clever. One negative: buy AAA batteries...BUY A LOT OF AAA BATTERIES!
Good build (easier than Ninjago!), large playset so make sure you have room. The kids love it, in fact all the neighborhood kids love it. One qwerk- location of ON/OFF switch on the train- but with minor modification and a few extra pieces it can be made more accessable. Remote: you have to point it directly at the train, and be fairly close to the train. Overall its pretty awesome if you're building a Legopolis!
I bought this train lego set for my husband and our three sons. They love it. We spend the first afternoon putting together as a family, it took about two and a half hours. The instructions were easy to follow, but we have lots of experience with legos. My only issue is the price of the lego set, it will be a long time before we buy another train lego set only because of the cost.
This looks like a very good Lego set. It is going to be a Christmas gift. My grandson will be very pleased with it.
Lego rarely disappoints and this train set is no exception. It's another fine LEGO product that assembles flawlessly and the fit and finish is first class.
It was a lot of fun for my grandson and I to assemble. And even more fun to play with.
fabulous price!!
Great Toy. Has wonderful extras within the set. Makes you want more trains.
My son loved the legos!
I got this set for over 400$ and no i don't think it is worth the money. I found another place that sells what look like lego for a fraction of the price. 100% work with lego and couldn't tell the difference. I bought a train from them for 70$ and it came with more pieces than the lego one. so no definitely not worth the price.
