Claeys is CLEAN Candy
No chemicals, no gluten, just natural ingredients. Sassafras is not my favorite flavor, but it's NOT bad! I got it because I love root beer and I thought this would be very similar. it is somehow similar but not VERY similar. doesn't turn me off, but it's not a flavor I'm drawn to repeatedly. It would be for people who maybe don't really like sweets but would like... something. It's different.

The flavor is strong, and the sugar coating is lovely. only comment would be the nontraditional orange!

I love the flavor you get in this candy. It is easy to store and is a nice color.

This horehound candy is good, but it does not have the strong flavor that I remember from my childhood in Kentucky. My mother would make sassafras tea from the root of the sassafras bush. More flavor and it would be excellent.
