Clairol Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Color Cream, 6G Light Golden Brown, Hair Dye, 1 Application

What happened to the old formula of nr 5 nice and easy medium brown colour? I been using the old formula for years but recently when I bought a new box from the supermarket the colour turned my grey roots yellow instead of nice brown colour like before. It looked absolutely terrible!! I will switch the brands from now on as Clairol reviews for nr 5 are very bad.👎👎👎

Have been using this hair dye for over 25 years and suddenly my brown black hair grey roots are light brown. I believe its the new tonal way to cover greys but thats not what i want. Tried twice as i presumed the first disaster was my fault byt no its the new formula. Really gutted i now have to find an alternative as i dye every 4 weeks

I purchased the nice n easy no 6 shade (light brown) when applying the mixture it didn't look like it usually does although the colour tube had no 6 on the back. This is something I always check before colouring my hair! The end product has an awful purple tint!! I have used nice n easy religiously for many years and I am very disheartened at the product and results I have experienced on this occasion!! Have you changed your mixtures???? I purchased two boxes of the said dye as they were on offer and am now very apprehensive about using this second box. Could you please advise. Thanks Elaine

I have been using dark blonde no 7 for years no problems. Today I used and i noticed the mix was a different colour. I got concerned that it seemed to be getting more purple so I decided to stop and wash it out of my hair. Thank god I did - the mix went dark purple. I can't understand what happened I did exactly what I normally do but I after reading all the other negative reviews it appears something is going wrong in production

I have been using Nice'n Easy 5 Medium Brown for at least five years to cover my grey hair. They have changed the formula lately, and the new formula no longer covers my grey hair properly. It's sad to have to find an alternative brand to use, but please consider changing it back to the previous formula, as it was by far the best.

Have used this for two years and the change in formula has absolutely ruined the product. Doesn't even dye new growth properly. Colour doesn't stick so now I am left with banding that can be seen when I am in daylight. I beg please change the formula back to old one I can't cope.

Have been using this colour for mmany years to cover my greys. This time it has not covered at all, leaving me with a different coloured regrowth stripe, the new formula is shocking. When washing it out I noticed th colour was a different colour then reading these reviews can see that it is not just me having a problem with this new formula. Clairol you need to sort this out as you have lost a valued customer and now i need to find something to match my colour that will colour the greys.

I have been using Nice n Easy Medium Brown for 5 years a never had a problem, now the formula has changed, it doesn't cover my grey roots and turns them yellow instead. Very disappointed, not sure why I the formula has changed. I will never purchase Nice n Easy again, will try another brand. I'm now left to try and sort out my hair, which look a total mess!!

The new formula is terrible! I'm so disappointed and will have to find a new hair dye now. At first I thought's it was just me so I tried again but the same terrible results and now checking the internet I can see that I am not the only one having this issue. I just don't see how the new formula passed testing. To make matters worse I stocked up as I have so many trips and events coming up that I wanted it in the house ready to go. What a waste.

Why have you changed the formula? I have used medium brown no. 5 for years and years no problem. However it now doesn't cover grey roots n is a yellow colour. It looks terrible. I thought it was a bad batch but obviously reading these reviews something has definitely changed during production. The stuff in bottle is now black (before it was creamy) n washes off like powder. Please revert to old formula. No idea what brand to use now! Your old formula was perfect & lovely.
