Clam Polar Trailer 10535 Max Single Axle Trailer, Black

The cart comes mostly disassembled except for the tailgate release and foot dump release. I assembled the cart by myself in a 24 degree garage. For some things it would have been easier to have two people and a lot warmer temperatures for a little flexibility in the poly tub for alignment of bolt holes with the steel frame. Overall it was a good design with heavy axle and wheels and tires. Delivery was different story but l'm not blaming Northern, it was the delivery company. I haven't used it yet because it is winter here but in the spring it will be used to haul firewood. I'll put a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood in the bottom like I do with my other carts. It helps keep them in great shape.

We bought this last month for an ongoing project of the county master gardeners. It was the second one we bought. We use it to move garden scraps with our small tractor to the compost pile to dump and shred. It was relatively easy to assemble, but fairly heavy so two or three people are needed. It was definitely the right choice for us.

After purchasing the Polar HD 1500 ATV Utility Trailer which was advertised as a dump trailer and didn't in fact dump any of it's contents, I found this model, ordered it, and returned to other one. This design, with the flip-open tailgate empties the contents like I would expect a dump trailer too! It's sturdy and has handles the advertised weight rating with ease. I transferred 10 yrds of pea stone in approx 1500lbs at a time over mild terrain and it performed flawlessly. Great for moving brush and holds a cord of split wood. All in all I am very pleased. I purchased the 2" ball adapter, makes for a much better towing setup.
