Classic Car

We ordered this cardboard cut-out to serve as the centerpiece of the buffet-table serving line. (It is 78-inches long so it straddles the long tables.) It will be for our father's 100th birthday. We had it delivered to his townhouse for safe-keeping and he was supposed to keep it under wraps. It was delivered with a cut, but our father became so attached to it that he asked us not to return it. Instead, I've heard that he gives his friends "the tour" of the cut-out where it is stored before the party. Since he was born in 1926 and Model Ts were everywhere in his youth, it was the right symbol to serve as his centerpiece. (We have balloon arches to assemble and other decorative pieces that complement it color scheme, but the cardboard cut-out was our "big" expenditure for decorating.)
