This is our second shuffler with the manual crank. We tend to be a little rough on them so it lasted 2.5 years. It requires no batteries. It is easy to use as long as you leave the crank in as it tends to shorten the life of it. Operation is easy. We leave the tray out.
Originally I was looking at battery operated ones on Amazon and the highest review I could find was 3.5 stars. Really for a card shuffler. The negatives were breaking, replacing batteries, jamming, etc. Just didn't seem worth the trouble since they all have issues. Then I saw this and really it couldn't be easier. No batteries to worry about and so long as you are normal gentle with it, seems like it could last forever. Just be sure and put the cards in flush and divide the deck as even as you can and do it a few times and you are good to go. This is great for those who have trouble shuffling for whatever reason. So happy I went this way
I'm an avid gamer and I own a ton of card and board games so there are a lot of different cards I have and I'm not a good shuffler, even after years of practice. This manual card shuffler is great for me because I can control how fast the cards shuffle, which is very important when dealing with cards of various sizes. I've even been able to shuffle sleeved cards with very little problems. After about 2000 cards I don't see marks or lines on the cards. Yes, it does jam it up but it's really rare and doesn't seem to damage anything. One thing they don't tell you is that there's also a second crank arm you can use (in case one breaks) that's located on the under side of the shuffler. I didn't even notice that until a week later. Overall, no complaints. Versatile, affordable, no motor to burn out, and a must for any card player of all types.
We play cards two days a week and it was frustrating when we used the shufflers with batteries, they didn't last, we had to return them constantly, now with this manual shuffler, we are all very happy. I bought two of them, one for my sister and one for me.THIS IS THE BEST INVENTION SINCE THE SLICED BREAD. HO,HO,HO
For the price, this product works extremely well. Newer cards shuffle better than older ones, but that's to be expected. It's fun to turn the crank and watch the cards shuffle!
It works well and no batteries to worry about. only problem is getting the handle to stay in the hole. it seems to open up after you use it a couple times and then stays in fine. So stick with it..it can take a little bit to make it work properly..but after that, it's good to go!
Fast, quiet, and easy to use. The handle snaps on and off. You must treat the handle with care even though they give you two of them. It is a good value and works very well. I would not let young children use it due to it being fragile. For careful people it works very well.
This shuffler worked very well. I play a two-deck game with my grandkids, 5 Crowns, and this is just the right size and fun for them to use. The only thing wrong: the card catching drawer is a bit difficult to open. The plastic drawer and and body of the shuffler don't create a smooth friction when pulling out the drawer. Has a drag. I simply wrapped a rubber band around the outer edge of the drawer which helps with grabbing the door for opening and preventing it from fitting too tightly.
shuffler uses a hand crank to distribute cards to tray with ease
The shuffler works if you are very careful otherwise it jams. The handle that makes the shuffling work, comes out easily. The drawer that collects the shuffled cards falls out and then you have 52 pickup. Will work for my needs, but don't let the grandchildren get at it.
