These are high quality tips that easily slide on for the amateur/ home player. The tip is of a nice roughly 1/16" leather and slips on the cue well. I would definitely recommend these to others as they are not easy to find on the market and wear down with a lot of chalking.
This is a set of 6 press-on pool cue tips. They slide on easily. The tips are leather with a plastic nylon sleeve. They seem very sturdy and I think they will hold up good. There is 2 sizes in this set, 3 of each size. My kids and I really like these tips. We are not professional pool players but play just for fun and these tips are perfect for us. They fit really snug too. I highly recommend these
These press on tips are just what we needed to replace several heavily worn and busted ones we had for the pool sticks we use for our pool table downstairs. Prior to installation, ensure that you are using the proper ferrule for the job. For the best results in replacing your old cue tips use a sharp knife or scissors to cut the bottom edge of the tip and pull the broken tip off with a pair of pliers. Using a knife or scissors, trim off the old glue residue that held on the original tip. Once you have the wood relatively clean, use a hot glue gun to cover the tip with a small amount of glue turning the stick quickly to get a spiral bead around the end of the stick paying close attention to the bottom edge so that your new tip will be well seated to the end of the cue. Firmly push your new tip onto your cue ensuring that it goes on straight and that it is firmly seated. Finally, put a final bead of hot glue around the bottom edge of the tip and be sure to clean any excess off for a nice, neat seal.
My husband's pool stick is getting a little up there in age and these press-on cue tips are just what he needed to give it some extra life. The Cue Tips really are easily pressed onto the end of the pool stick and are great quality. They came in two sizes 12mm and 13mm. He's very happy with them. I would recommend them to a friend.
I had no idea that these things existed, but they're so handy! I recently acquired a used pool table for my basement that came with some generic cues. I have my own quality cue collection that I inherited from my father, so I will let my nieces and nephews use the cues that came with the table and reserve the nicer cues for adults to use. I noticed one of the cues had no tip on it at all, so it's been sitting in a corner. Let's be honest, I was never going to get around to having it re-tipped. When I saw this product, I was thrilled! I was able to just slide one of these over the cue and ta-da! Totally usable cue again. I used the cue for a few minutes and it felt stable and good. I'm loving how easy that was! When my nicer cues need to be re-tipped, I'll surely still take them in to be done professionally, but I would not hesitate to use one of these as a stop-gap solution, or more permanently on a lesser cue. I recommend!
These are just what we wanted: solid quality in two sizes to fit several cues. Leather tip has desired rough texture, slightly domed and well attached to the plastic. The plastic is not too thin, but pliable enough to push on. (You can soften the plastic a little by gently warming, maybe in your hand, for easier insertion).
The Cue tips are very nice and easy to use... I'm not a pro player but I enjoyed playing indoors with my family and kids. These tips are very easy to put on the sticks and basically they're safe for my kids so that they can't hurt themselves from the sticks. Me and my kids love to play with it during this time we got some entertainment indoors only. The quality of the tips is good but I'm feeling little bit of leather is sprinkling from the tips. All else is nice and perfect.
It's going to be cold and snowy soon where I live and this came just in time. I play a lot of billiards in the winter and these press on tips are easy to use and put on. The only thing is the tips/ leather is falling off in sprinkles not sure if that's normal. I would recommend this to my family and friends that play pool or billiards.
I have a pok table that my family and I play on a regular basis and these pool tips came in handy. They are easy to use and just basically slide right on with no issues. Worked well with hitting the balls and have had no issues so far with using them. I cant see any issues I would have with them they work great
The Classic Sport Press-On Cue Tips & Ferrules, (3) 12mm & (3) 13mm are nice but not for me. The tips came off my pool stick each time I'd hit the balls. Their really cheap plastic and not for me but it was worth the try. I thought they were gonna be a thicker plastic witch I think it may have helped a bit but honestly not so sure.
