Classy Caps White Aluminum Solar Deck and Wall Light

The build quality and design are consistently excellent; I have some that have been installed for 15 years and are still running. The system is simple, efficient, and easy to install. I highly recommend it.

Excellent pathway lighting solution - to match the exterior of my home. I purchased 3 different lighting types/styles, to match the surroundings. I have this particular one on my screened porch and on my workshop, as it goes perfectly with the trim.

Needed solar lights to illuminate house numbers on a new mailbox post. This fit the bill very well - relatively low cost, fairly good light output, easy to install and attractive look.

I installed this light over my house numbers just last week > I installed on Hardie board siding, so it was necessary to use a longer heavier screw and plastic anchor but all went as planned and looks great!

Exactly what I needed to add some (dark-skies preserving) lighting at the three gates along my fenceline. (I've added two photos here, both taken at dusk.) Throws just enough light in those locations, so I can track my dogs along the perimeter at night._x000D_ Product seems to be well-made and was easy-to-install. Hope that the batteries can hold their charge over the cold, winter months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 4 of these PV lights for use with a mailbox and 3 exterior gates. The casting used seems solid, light reasonably/ sufficiently bright to create visibility in these spots for mailbox numbers and seeing gate locks. Being a new install, I have no basis to assess longevity of cast frames, PV cells or battery, but am hopeful that they will resist corrosion and work well for a long time.

Unfortunately not bright enough for our purposes, it will not illuminate your street number. But for some safety lighting on the edge of a deck it will probably do the trick.

I recently purchased six of these lights and not one actually works. I purchased several of these years ago and they've been great; however, it looks like it's either a bad production batch with faulty switches on the back side, or there's a new company making these things. I wouldn't waste your time and money.
