Claudine (DVD)

This film represents the single mom in modern society. She tries to raise her children to be good and strong, but there are always problems to overcome within a single life, or while raising a family. She helps her children, but she can't save them all if they go astray by free-will, or through addiction. Overall, this is worth seeing! I have seen this film on TV as a child and a teenager. It left a big impression on me. I am giving this DVD to my oldest sister as a memorable gift. We saw this together may years before she became a mom.

This is a must-see movie for the young and the old alike! I have the movie on VHS, but am ordering a CD, in fact I am ordering two! I want to watch it with some friends and then watch it with my daughter who is now a mother of two and I am sure she can relate to the dynamics of the relationships portrayed in the movie. Plus, you have to love the clothes and the music!

The dvd arrived on time, securely wrapped in its original case and the cd plays clear and the audio is beautiful with not a scratch on it.

I enjoy watching this movie it touching and funny. Love jame earl jones and dianna Carroll. Good actors they did a good job.

If you grew up in the 70's the music and the clothes will bring back fond memories. Ms Diahanne Carrol is great and so is James Earl Jones. I really enjoyed this movie about a woman making it and finding love.

Was very easy to use

It seems like it took forever to arrive because it got delayed in transit but it was well worth the wait. I can watch this movie over and over again. Diahann Carroll is the best.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. My mother had eight children when she decided to remarry. We were not on welfare but I could relate to many of the issues and concerns of Claudine due to the experiences that my mother encountered after her divorce.
