Claxton Fruit Cake - 3-1 Lb. DARK Recipe - Individually Wrapped 1 Lb. Cakes

Great! Tastes like the fruitcake of my childhood. Lots of candied fruit and nuts and moist too! This is the dark fruitcake I'm talking about since I haven't tried the light yet.

I have always loved fruitcake at Christmas time. My grandmother always had fruitcake available. This brand has been around for many years and the dark is my favorite.

This was the first time I tried their Dark Fruit Cake. It was delicious. It was much fresher tasting than the Claxton 1 lb Fruitcake I bought from Food Lion last month. Be sure to keep refrigerated as suggested to make slicing much easier.

It's hard to find decent/any fruit cake anymore. This came perfectly packaged and ahead of estimated delivery date. It is filled with fruit and nuts and met my expectations. I will purchase again.

I cannot stand those round fruit cakes, these logs are so easy to serve and cut, plus can be frozen for when the holidays have ended. I buy the 3 set of dark every year.

This is one of the best fruit cakes ever. Full of flavor, not bland. I prefer the dark. Loaded with fruit.

The taste of this cake with a little cream cheese and hot black coffee. Brings family holidays back to life.

I Love fruity Fruitcakes!! This was a very good cake, EXCEPT for the poor quality of the mixing of batter, and then, it was a very STALE cake. I ordered the 3-pak of the Dark. I tasted molasses, (yummy) and there is plenty of fruit and nuts. Too bad a lot was old products. I put butter on it, and warmed it in toaster oven.😥

This product is as close as I have yet come to my mom's wonderful dark fruitcake. My only objection is that, like others I've investigated, it contains high fructose corn syrup, which I never eat. While I compromised this time because I was nostalgically yearning for a taste of the old days, I will not be buying this or any other fruitcake until the bakers find a way to make their product without HFCS, which has been proven to be one of the unhealthiest ingredients used in baked products today.
