Cle de Peau Beaute La Creme, 1.7 oz / 50 ml (New Formula)

I believe I've reviewed this superlative cream before and have been purchasing it for years. It perfectly suits my skin's needs and keeps my skin calm, moisturized, smooth, and even toned. I already have the beautiful jar and just buy refills, but this year I decided to gift this to a very dear friend who was going through a lot of trauma. She has dry, sensitive, delicate skin at the best of times, but the stress she was under was really taking a toll on her complexion. I knew that the beauty and opulence of the jar would help lift her spirits and that the cream itself would help calm, soothe, and soften her complexion. La Crème is legendary for good reason.

I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten for my skin since I've started using Cle de peau beaute. I love this brand so much and makes my skin look and feel beautiful and that's all I want. Yes it's very expensive but worth every penny

I'm in my mid-60s and decided to splurge on a jar of La Creme to address the dryness and deep wrinkles on my face. I expected it to help hide the problem areas, but have found that it does so much more! My skin looks and feels soft and dewy, my pores appear smaller, and my skin feels revived! I love this product and wish I had started using it years ago. What I've learned is that La Creme helps even "older" skin and I continue to get compliments on how nice my skin looks. So if you've been considering La Creme, give it a try! It's now part of my daily skin routine.

What is there left to say about this incredible cream that other people haven't already said. It's legendary for a reason. It's gentle, effective, leaves a smooth light occlusive barrier on the skin, and plays nice with makeup. I use CdP's The Cream Foundation (the one in the glass jar) morning and night. I've seen it go through a couple reformulations and it just keeps getting better and better. Is it stupid expensive? Yes! That being said, I find it is irreplaceable and always stock up when it's on sale. That it comes in a refill also helps with the wallet pain. I've never come close to finding a re-la cement for my dry mature skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Judging the actual effect of the product alone, I'm impressed. There's that instant gratification of blurred smooth skin texture after prolly 2 to 3 nights of using. Ingredient wise, I commend the inclusion of retinyl palmitate which surely will contribute to the longer term effect of this cream in evening out skin's texture, increasing collagen formation, resurfacing from the deeper layers of the skin that's a trademark of any retinol. I'm also glad that it's the gentlest version of retinol, so compliance is more likely, and in turn appreciation of its effect in the long run. It's expensive, but surely a rebuy for me when it's on sale.

I didn't receive my three samples, and the customer service and system were very disappointing.
