This doesn't work as well as your previous cleansing cream oil. With this one, it takes a little more effort to take your makeup off. With your previous one, it was effortless..just one swipe and the makeup was gone. While this cleansing oil is still nice, it's just as effective as any other cleansing oil. The old formula just felt more luxe and therapeutic to rub the cream around your face. Please bring the old one back! :(

While it would get milky with water it was so hard to get it to rinse clean. Not to mention that I had to go back in several times to remove even minimal makeup. The pro is that it doesn't have a scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I was let down by this cleansing oil. My main concern for a cleaning oil is for it to cleanse my makeup. I have always wanted to try this brand as I adore the sheek packaging, marketing, and of course the glowing recommendations from follow skin enthusiasts. My first impression was it has a nice soft feminine smell but I had to use a lot of product to feel like I could cleanse my whole face. The deal breaker is that it did not cleanse my face. I used a white towel after cleansing with this oil and still had some foundation on the towel. Maybe this is a one off product from Cle' de Peau but boy was I dissapointed! Lastly, I did not breakout or have any redness from this. I didn't feel like my face my moisturized but it also didn't feel super dry so I'm not sure if it would be good for very dry skin.

I bought this cleansing oil from Neiman Marcus. I am so disappointed . I love all their product products. I thought I would love this as well.. There is zero aroma, which could be a plus for many. My Shiseido cleansing oil also took off my eye makeup and mascara. This does not but leaves an oily film in your eyes . I'm sorry to write a bad review as I usually don't do this, but this is how disappointed I am.
