I'm so glad they removed the dye and fragrance. There's truly never any reason to be putting dye or fragrances on our skin and it only damages the skin long term. Like others have said, this does have a very strong alcohol base and may irritate those with sensitivity towards alcohol, broken skin or a weak skin barrier. If you have any of those I would recommend finding a product that does not contain alcohol (such as the stridex 2% salasytic acne pads) in it and I would actually LOVE if they made this same exact product in an alcohol free version. But this is wonderful for smoothing your complexion, reducing sebum reproduction, lightening dark spots and penetrates the skin barrier to knock out stubborn acne. Your acne may get worse before it gets better with this because it will bring the clogged sebum to the surface, but with continued use it can be a great exfoliant and sebum reproduction reducer. I like to wet a cotton pad with water before applying this to the pad and then putting it onto my face. It dillutes it a bit until your skin can handle it at full strength.

I have used this product for many years and am very happy with it. My only complaint is that the top of the container was not sealed properly and leaked during shipping. Some retailers will seal liquid products with some type of wrapping to prevent spills. Unfortunately, WalMart did not.

This is an excellent product for those prone to acne. It's strong, does a great job and walmart.com is fantastic shipping directly to the house.

It's refreshing and cleans pores even after washing your face thoroughly. I have not seen smaller pores yet though.

I love this product! I use it once a week for deep cleaning my pores and dead skin build up! Works wonderfully without drying out my skin!

This product is from the past for me. I used it years ago. Now I am back! Love it! Does what it is suppose to.

This has been my go-to astringent for years (probably 20!). It does not have a strong odor and does not leave any weird feeling or residue on your skin.

Dried out my skin more than necessary, but it did clear up oily parts of my face and reduced break outs. It does have a strong alcohol smell, but it doesn't linger. I used this product twice a week, let it sit for 2 mins, rinsed, and applied a moisturizer. It still caused flaky skin and itchiness. I'd like to note that my skin is usually dry, especially in winter.
