We put this rodent repeller in our garage where we would occasionally get field mice and it works great! We have not had any sign of mice since installing it. The instructions are very clear making installation very easy. I also like that when it is plugged in there is still one outlet exposed for use. This product is much better than using bait traps.

We live close to the woods, and in this part of the country, critters of all kinds are more than plentiful. It has been a challenge keeping them at bay, and over the years, we've tried our fair share of pest control products. Most of them are messy, a hassle to use, or both. That's why we were eager to try this electronic device to control the varmints. So far, this device has proven effective, although results were not immediate. After too many evenings of seeing a mouse run out from under the sofa, and too many traps that the mice were too smart to get caught in, we opted for the CLEANRTH CR008 Advanced Ultrasonic Rodent Repelling System. We were attracted by the concept of sending electronic pulses through the wiring of the house to repel pests, even at a distance from the electronic unit. Although the manufacture claims one unit is sufficient for one floor (or 7,000 sq. feet), we purchased two for a small country apartment, and we're glad we did. Even with two units covering a 2,000 square foot home, it took a few days before the mice finally decided to stop visiting us. The manufacturer claims it may take up to two weeks to see results. The plug-in eliminator is easy to use, all you do is just plug it in any standard wall outlet, set the functions that you want, and then just leave it. The included night light and ionizer are a nice addition. I've used this gadget for a few days and have not had any issues with mice, ants, or spiders. I have also talked with a professional pest control technician, and he told me that a lot of his customers have had really good experience with these types of devices. Overall, this has been a positive experience thus far. I will update this review if anything changes in terms of my assessment.

The most area coverage I have seen .I like the night light feature and also the test feature so I can test and hear the tone. I cleaned rodent droppings and installed this advanced ultrasonic rodent repelling system and so far there has been no more droppings or signs of any type of rodent .It only took eight days for no more signs of rodents here .There is another higher setting for tough rodents and a toll free number plus a web site for free help in case your problem is extra hard .Many settings stage on for up to eight days and sixteen days .This rodent repeller plugs in the bottom outlet leaving the second outlet free for other appliances .Nice looking when in use easy settings well marked .

I was skeptical about trying this product since I have had very little success with removing mice from our house other than with the old fashioned type of mouse traps. I really hate dealing with those. First of all just trying to set them with out snapping it on a finger is a challenge. Then just the whole tedious process of baiting them and distributing them all over the house. Just a hassle. Then of course dealing with the remains once you actually catch something is just the worst. So when I heard about the Cleanrth Ultrasonic repelling system I knew it was something I needed to at least try. All you have to do is plug it in and choose the setting. Our main issue has been in our basement area where we watch television at night. We sit in the finished area and when it is quiet we can hear scratching sounds coming from the walls. So unnerving. I just can't relax with that sound. I am always waiting to hear it. We read that this product can penetrate thick walls and covers 7,000 square feet of space with the ultrasonic waves. We plugged it in and left it overnight and then went back down to the basement the next evening and we did not hear any scratching at all! I love the fact that since our house is much smaller than 7,000 square feet that the mice will have no where to go inside of our house where they will be able to get away from the sound. Therefore not wanting to stay! It would be useless if they just moved to another part of the house but that is why having such a strong signal is important. So far I am really impressed and pleased with this product.

I've done lots of animal testing and pest control measures. We have our share of rodents on our rural property and I am always keen on finding ways to trap and remove or prevent the entry of rodents into our home which occurs every fall. FAILURE - to repel rats. This unit had apparently no effect on Norway Rats that visit the outbuildings on our property. SUCCESS - mice are what make their way into our living spaces every single year. Specifically Deer Mice. We observe their activity with motion activated cameras and they show up in the basement like clockwork. THE TEST - We first verified the point of entry in the basement, specifically along the top of the basement wall. Mice squeeze in and can be observed scamping along the top of the basement wall with great regularity. UNIT PLACEMENT - The CleanRth unit was plugged into the duplex outlet on the common wall with the closet where the mice have gained entry through the years. The unit was plugged into the wall 24 inches from the floor and the closed door was left open so the sound could travel through the space. PERIOD OF TEST - for one week prior to the unit being plugged in, deer mice (two specimens) were noted traveling in and back out an average of 3 times per night. We plugged the unit in and followed the recommended settings: Rodent Power Switch to Full Power Rodent Targeting Switch to Stage 1 Rodent Confusion Switch to Rodentonic 2 Night Light OFF RESULT: One mouse was observed the first night. So, one mouse observed over a seven day period when prior to the unit being placed, a week would result in 14 or more activity sequences involving mice. I DO recommend this unit specifically for Deer Mouse Control, NOT for Rat Control. PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS OF THE UNIT: Height: 6 inches Thickness (from wall to face): 1 and 3/8 inches. This is how much space you'd need behind furniture etc. Width: 3 and 1/2 inches (includes switches) I recommend this unit. Succeeds where other ultrasonic units have failed.

I got the Cleanrth CR008 Advanced Ultrasonic Rodent Repelling System to help deter roof rats from making a home in my attic. The Cleanrth CR008 uses variable ultrasonic sounds to provide a chemical-free rodent control which is an alternative to using poisons which causes the rats to die between the walls. The ultrasonic sound waves can't be heard by humans and house hold pets but is annoying to the rodents. Overall, the product seems to be quite effective and I am happy with it.

This seems to work well. To be honest, it's kind of hard to prove it does or doesn't. But as I said in the title, I have seen any evidence of pests since I plugged it in. I know it's not designed for it, but it definitely doesn't affect flying insects. Tons of options - it oddly kind of confusing at first with all the switches and positions they can be set in, but after carefully reading the directions I'm set.

The Cleanrth Advanced Rodent Repeller works easily by plugging into any 120 volt outlet and it immediately starts repelling rodents with its "high intensity ultrasonic generating technology". It uses electromagnetic waves to go deep into your walls. The waves basically irritate pests' nervous systems with slight vibrations which drive them from your home. The waves are inaudible to humans and pets.

This redent repeller has a good look to it.The green and red blinking lights are awesome..The test button is a great idea to hear if it is working or not...I have it in my garage which does often have rodents running around..Since using this rodent repeller,I have not seen any rodents.

I have had this plugged in for 2 weeks so far and I have not seen any evidence of mice or anything. I have never had a product with so much helpful information in the packaging as this did, you had contact emails, phone numbers etc and step by step information on setting it up and using it. It is compact and I love it has a nightlight on it, that comes in handy for sure, it has different settings so if you do still see mice you can change the setting and stop them from coming in. The really cold weather has not come so far so hoping it does the trick and keeps working to keep the little intruders outside where they belong. If you have the problem of mice coming in for the winter without being welcomed I would suggest getting this and giving it a try. I do have a cat and dogs and it does not bother them at all, I think the cat is mad because no mice to catch since plugging this in.
