I just got this Morovan cleansing oil and used it for the first time tonight as the first step in my double cleanse. I wear makeup every single day and genuinely love it, collecting and testing products is basically a hobby at this point, so a remover has to work hard but treat my skin nicely. The scent is very light and herbal, not perfumey or overwhelming, which I appreciate because I usually avoid heavily fragranced skincare. The oil spreads easily and immediately starts breaking down everything I put on my face that day. Once water hits it, it turns milky fast and rinses clean instead of hanging around like a greasy layer. My skin felt clean but not squeaky clean, meaning my moisture barrier didn't feel like it just got evicted. After rinsing my skin stayed soft and comfortable with zero tightness. It melted through sunscreen, foundation, and eye makeup without hard scrubbing which is exactly what I want from a proper first cleanse before my water based cleanser. I used this on my eyes and there was zero irritation and no cloudiness. I currently use a popular Korean cleansing oil and honestly on first use I liked this one better. It feels lighter while still doing the heavy lifting, which is rare when you wear a full face regularly. Also I love that I can get good quality beauty products like this delivered right to my door through Walmart. Trying new skincare without running store to store is dangerously convenient for someone who loves makeup as much as I do. So far this made a great first impression. I will update this review in a week or two after more use to watch for things like breakouts, irritation, or clogged pores.
Cleansing oil, including this brand are a must for oily acne prone skin. Don't ask me the science behind oils being used for oily skin, but it somehow regulates the sebum production..
I was very surprised when this felt more like water than oil. It did emulsify and lather up very quickly and nicely. It does a good job left off my make up and it leaves my skin moisturized.
This oil perfectly removes my makeup. The scent is subtle but fresh. I use it as step one in my double cleansing routine. It has not broken out my acne prone skin. I would highly recommend.
Makeup Cleansing Oil works as stated. Oil is fragrance-free and does not burn or bruise my sensitive skin. This product is the real deal. Give it a try.
love how it has an herbal scent and not a strong perfume smell. it's fragrance fee. removes makeup nicely and turns creamy as soon as water touches it so easy to get off your face. not sure if it will break me out or not yet.
Absolutely love this product and I'm so glad I found it. It takes off mascara effortlessly and it doesn't sting my eyes. I use it as a first cleanse.
Used several times before review. Gets off stubborn waterproof makeup and leaves skin feeling refreshed and soft. Does not dry out skin.
The ingredient list for this product was not posted on the product page, and I'm not excited to discover that it is almost entirely mineral oil. The instructions are also vague and state "take an appropriate amount with dry hands" – like what is an appropriate amount? I didn't find that this dissolved my make up better than a soap based cleanser, but it did leave my skin feeling a little less dry.
this makeup remover cleansing oil was on clearance for half price so I got it for $10. it seemed like it must have been a higher end product if the price was any indication. I was looking for something that would remove mascara more easily than micellar water and it seemed I had found it. since it's a cleansing oil, that to me indicates it should work well on mascara so I bought it. When I removed It from the box I saw that the bottle noted several more attributes: makeup removing, gentle care, deep cleansing, and it rapidly emulsifies. I read the instructions in case there was anything of interest there. near the end of the directions it mentioned that when using you should avoid the eye area. WHAT?? Not such a good deal after all.
