Our dogs SAM-e is so $$$ and even online vets say the people and canine formulations are the same, so tried this. I cannot vouch for its effectiveness because the dog's liver tests are so expensive we only get them annually now but the price savings is worth it during this year of experiment. Same as the canine ones, dog hates these and I have to make a gravy with a spoonful of canned food, add it to her kibble, and drop this in. Success. The capsule holds up. Quality of brand seems great, no odor, nothing off-putting.

I order this instead of a low does to see if it made a difference. It seems to work well but this product is not buffered so it might upset an empty stomach .
