I've used this for 3 months. Since I purchased another box and Walmart.com is wanting me to review this product, it should be obvious that I'm not pregnant. This is probably not the test's fault, rather reduced fertility in my age group. The test however, is accurate - as far as predicting the time of ovulation. The 3 months that I've used it, the period came 14 days after the "peak" fertility. My cycles used to be regular in the past, but I may have been under some stress lately, so in the past 6 months some of them were shorter and some longer. This test is very helpful in these situations to determine ovulation time, if the cycle length cannot be relied on. Bottom line: the test won't impregnate you (or me), but will be accurate in detecting ovulation. Also, at the time I purchased, walmart.com was cheapest (taking into account tax) - compared to drugstore.com and walgreens website (even with $15 off $60 coupon). I did need to add a couple of random items to increase the purchase price to 50 bucks for free shipping.
I have had the product for 2 weeks now, followed the instructions. I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. It was very helpful to me.
These work!!! I used these exact sticks 5 years ago to conceive my son. The monitor is amazing! Only took me 2 months and I was pregnant. Trying again for baby number 2. Just ordered a 3 month round of test sticks praying for the same outcome.
It's a great way to plan, we use it as a complement to the creighton NFP model. It matches really well with our observations. The 30 sticks will last for about 3 months.
I haven't used the clear blue test strips yet and won't be able to use them until my next cycle. I hope it will work since the packaging was bad. Walmart used a plastic bag to put the 2 products and the product boxes were beaten up (smash, crumbled,..). I was very disappointed that Walmart didn't use a cardboard box to put these sensitive products in. If they don't work when I us ethem in my next cycle, I will return the items to Walmart due to their terrible and cheap packaging.
These ovulation sticks work with the monitor and predict ovulation for me pretty accurately. I have PCOS and it takes the guessing out of my long cycles. We are trying for our 2nd child, so far no BFP. The sticks and the monitor are expensive but work well for me.
I had an error message on two occasions. This happened in the middle of my testing window. Fortunately, it does allow you to retest for that day. Perhaps I simply had a bad test stick? Anyway, this system is super helpful in narrowing down your fertility window! I have pcos, so this is a GREAT thing. Good luck!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this product, but it was not foolproof. It's a definite “must read instructions” product- which it DOES say as soon as you open the box. That being said, I couldn't figure out how to turn it on and I wasted two sticks trying to test. I couldn't figure out how to make it work, even after reading the instructions. It seems that you have to start with a new cycle- and it will supposedly notify you on the days you're supposed to test? Once I have more time to figure out the clearblue monitor, I'm sure I'll love it.
The item was shipped as expected. Upon opening the package I noticed the box was all smashed. Could have been shipped in a box or something to protect the product.
The Advanced Digital holder I had started displaying an error after using these sticks. I was told by customer service that these sticks are incompatible with this holder and can only be used with the Advanced Digital Monitor. Thanks Clearblue for making this extra confusing... You know you could have just given the different devices different names rather than calling everything Advanced Digital....
