Brilliant resolution for obtaining digital copies of our movies on 8mm camcorder cassettes. As soon as my charger arrives tomorrow, I'll be testing. Fast delivery.
It was simple to use! I am by no means a computer guru and I figured it out!
Easy to use to transfer old vhs tapes to digital files.
I would highly recommend the ClearClick VHS 2 DVD Wizard. Its easy to use in transferring those precious VHS tape memories to DVDs. Their Tech support is also very helpful!
So easy to use even someone like myself can capture home moves from my VHS player and my Hi8 camcorder! Easy to use and great quality! The software gives you several options to adjust size versus quality in many number of formats.
I do not like that you have to communicate with technical support via email. By the time they can answer your questions, you are no longer at your device.
It does what I wanted. Still playing with the settings to find the best quality. A little quirky but I can work with it.
Unit functioned as advertised. Adapter is simple to set up. Software was fairly straightforward. My only issue is the software it came with wasn't capable of creating files in the WMV format I needed for my project. Still a decent product, and I'll probably be able to find some software elsewhere to do the job.
Capturing the VHS video works well, but I could not get the capture to burn onto a DVD %26 used a different AP burn the captured video file.
Videos can only be changed from VHS to mpeg files. It would be good to change them to other formats such as mov to avoid another conversion step when those formats are needed. The screen view is very small and can barely see the video while converting to digital. There are also a few tricks that you have to learn to avoid problems during conversion. Overall, the software works pretty good for the price but could stand some upgrades.
