We have a Tablo (with included antennae) and never got all the major local channels. After a year of frustration, I purchased this antennae to use with our Tablo and now we receive all the local channels and way more. Thank you!
I was able to receive channels with the Clear Stream Eclipse antenna that I had trouble receiving using a rabbit-ear antenna. The mobile phone antenna app was helpful for deciding where to put the antenna. I would like to see Clear Stream develop a custom matching antenna mount offered that allows the antenna to be rotated while in place using a turning knob at the top or bottom.
I really was impressed with this atenna because it was able to give me a lot of channels that others would not that I tried.installation was extremely easy.i recommended one of these to my friend.the cost is a little high but it's worth it when you need a good one for a 50in.tv
We just moved into a new house in North Phoenix closer to two of our sons and their kids. One of my sons told me that we wouldn't get any good signals around our new house (due to being at the base of several 'buttes' in the Sonoran Desert preserve) and would likely need to get cable. I read the reviews on this antenna and thought I'd give it a try and was truly hoping to get at least 2 of the 'big' 4 channels that I wanted: CBS, Fox, NBC and ABC. This way I could get most all of the Saturday and Sunday football games to watch. Well, I ran the channel search on the TV and not only ended up with dozens of clear channels, I got all of the big 4. There was only one other channel I was hoping to get but did not. The picture on many of the channels is superb and this antenna found many I'd never gotten a signal on before in our old house, so I would call this ClearStream Eclipse a WINNER. Give it a try.
I was able to get a ton of channels that I had not been able to get before. Reception is clear. Very easy installation. Price was very reasonable. Certainly beats subscribing.
Does a pretty good job of acquiring local channels even though occasionally there is break up of signal and I am less than 10 miles from most of the broadcast antennas in my area. Overall it does the job and ia better than what I had before. Digital signals are not all what they are cracked up to be.
When I first took it up, I got 31 channels, which is twice as much as I got with my other antenna. But at first, the reception was pretty poor compared to my other one. Then I wanted to try to move it around a little. So now I'm not getting the 31. But the reception is better now. I know it takes time to adjust so right now. It seems to be better than what I had so I will keep it.
Installation was easy. Unfortunately my building has no line of sight access to the direction of towers. I got zero channels. Rather than return the antenna, I gave it to my daughter who's home has line of sight and she immediately got 60+ channels without the amplifier. The picture quality was better than cable. I will try to get permission from the building to mount an external antenna.
Works good when you put in best location. I almost gave up on this product when I position it on the nearest window by my TV and it was not picking up clear channels but I read to locate it away from big trees so it comes with extra long wire to position it at best location in your home now it works good with no interference .
I bought this antenna about a month ago and it does not do what it claims to do. I want to return it and both Walmart and the seller refuse to take a return. I am stuck with an antenna that doesn't do anything for me and it is a waste of a total of $55.00. Will not buy from them again.
