Clementine + C Illuminating Toner

If you enjoy using a toner and have sensitive skin, I recommend this one. I also like that it's a spray - easier and more sanitary than applying with a cotton ball. Very light and fresh.

I love everything about this toner. It has improved my skin in so many ways. I am middle aged and have some wrinkles, sun spots and the worse thing of all - my skin is beginning to sag and look crepey in certain areas. Since I've been using this (for about 3 weeks now) my skin definitely looks so much clearer, smoother, less crepey and my wrinkles are getting less noticeable. And my skin is also beginning to look a lot firmer as well. I absolutely did not expect this toner to help my aging skin so much - but it truly has. Please don't change the formula whatever you do! It's wonderful just the way it is. (P.S. Instead of spraying it on I saturate a cotton ball with it and apply it to my face and neck that way).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent isn't as bright and refreshing as it used to be, but it's still nice. The bright color of the bottle is welcoming on early mornings when I'm not quite awake. I ignore the instructions to spritz and rub into my skin - I'm an "apply to cloth and wipe over face" kind of gal. I don't notice much of a difference in my complexion, but I'm older than I was when I first started using it. It's still a welcome part of my face care routine.

I don't like it very much. I only purchased it because I thought it would have a citrus smell. It's orange, and it has the word “Clementine” in its name, so I thought maybe. But it smells different than I expected. Also, I thought it was a “toner,” for cleaning pores. It isn't. Its purpose seems to be to “brighten” or “illuminate” the skin.

It's a toner so it's the consistency of water. It's a spray bottle so I spray it on my fingers and tap it on my skin. It's a clear bottle which isn't great for a vitamin c product since vitamin c isn't chemically stable - a dark bottle would have been better. Not sure if it's doing anything besides wetting my skin. Smells nice. I'm going to get the dark spot corrector next time
