They have the same great taste as the chocolate chip clif bars!! If I was watching my calorie intake i would certainly have these on my shopping list. With my work schedule I often only have a few seconds to eat something so I really rely on the regular clif bars to give me the energy and nutrition to keep going! Also love to have one before my run!!
The type of oil used is high oleic sunflower oil -- this is very low in linoleic acid (just 9% of the total oil), the essential fatty acid that is in overabundance in the Standard American Diet (SAD), and which is believed to be responsible for all kinds of chronic health problems, including even cancer.
While fueling on my Bike, I have tried most ever energy and nutrition bar out there, and the one bar / company that always come thru every time, are the Clif Bar products....At this point I have pretty much given up on all the other brands......Clif Bar or Nothing.....
I was happily surprised that the clif thins were crunchy and tasty compared to the mini chocolate clif bars, which are chewy and more dense. It's a personal preference. Some days, I like the chewy regular clif bars, other days, I like them crispy and crunchy. Perfect on the go snack. I love the added discount, too!
Did you know that it is scientifically impossible to eat 100% of a Nature Valley Bar? It's true, they shatter everywhere and you will always have bits falling somewhere only your dog can find. That is not the case with these. While after having these, I prefer the mini Clif bars if I only want 100 calories because they are more durable to have ride around in a pack or jacket for a few days, these are a great option to have as well. They were very tasty and the right level of crunch.
Stepmom had to take antibiotics because of an infection. She had to have a small meal before taking the medicine but couldn't keep a piece of toast down. So she tried the Clif Chocolate Chip Thins I got as a bonus with a Clif Bar order I received. Not only could she keep her medicine down but she loved the taste so much now she has them with her am coffee.
I got these as a free sample and am willingly eating them. They're a little nuttier and seedier than I had expected--they're not cookies. I don't know if I'd order these again but I would try other flavors at least. It's a good (healthier?) way of getting in a little sweet snack.
While similar taste to the regular Clif Chocolate Chip bar, it's definitely harder/crunchier (more like a cracker consistency). Also I found it less satiating (even if eating two packs, which is roughly the equivalent caloric amount) than the original Clif Bar. Overall interesting texture and appealing taste, but not the best option if you're trying to curb your hunger for long
I received a box to try with my order. I like that the thins are crispy. The chocolate is not overbearing, and they are not too sweet. The flavor is only ok - I didn't love them and didn't hate them, and they made for a decent and easy snack, but I probably wouldn't buy them.
the taste was good and only only 100 calories per pack. but it did not fill me up like a regular cliff bar. so i would have to have 3 packs to fill up and what is the point? I will stick with my peanut toffee buzz bar. my girl friend on the other hand likes the 100 calorie part , so if your looking for low calories then this is for you.
