One of my favorite things about these is the trash leash I love the attention to detail in thinking about what to do with that little bit of trash that you tear off the top. Not to mention this flavor is the best. I'm not a fan of fruity stuff but this is the only flavor I buy in bulk. For keeping me going on rides there's nothing better than using something you actually enjoy the taste of, instead of having to grit a bear and swallow anyways
Training for an Ironman and have been testing out various gels. These are by far the best tasting. I can take an entire gel at one time vs the other guys I usually couldn't stomach taking the whole thing down at once. I rotate between this one, chocolate and espresso and haven't gotten sick of the flavors yet.
For the last few years when trail running, I've been bullied by Bigfoot and never felt strong enough to stand up to him. It started off with Bigfoot taunting me about my bald head and how if I were any slower, I could switch to using a calendar instead of a Garmin to measure my times. Then Bigfoot's bullying became more aggressive and progressed to his stealing my beef jerky (at the time, my preferred trail snack). I became vegan soon thereafter to try and discourage his theft, but who knew that giant primates are not above also stealing kale. Feeling lost and debating whether I should quit trail running and take up mall walking, I turned to your product, the Clif Shot Energy Gel. With zero caffeine, minimal sugar and enough flavors to satisfy even the most fastidious trail runner, I developed the strength and confidence to stand up to my bully, Bigfoot. I now run trails with a full head of hair, my times have improved and no one bullies me or steals my kale. And I owe it all to your company and the Clif Shot Energy Gel. Thank you. ps - any thoughts about developing a kale-flavored energy gel?
I am a type 1 diabetic and slip these into my waistbands on runs not only for fuel but to literally save my life. As a type 1, my sugars can sometimes drop to dangerously low levels while exercising and these are the perfect thing to keep with me to fuel my body and bring my sugars back up.
As a Type One Diabetic a lot of glucose gels have gross artifical flavors, I'm always looking for one that will bring my blood sugar up quick and still taste good. And this energy gel is it! They are easy to take to the beach or our hiking and give me a shot of glucose when my blood sugar is going low. Only downside for me is that they aren't that perfect 15 carbs that us diabetics like to bring up a low blood sugar with. Over all great product will defintly buy again. My favorite flavors are this one, chocolate, and boston cream! 100% recommend to Diabetics who are looking for an easy, tastey quick carb on the go!
I've tried many forms of electrolyte energy gels, gummies, etc. from different companies in the past and settled on Clif shots as the best tasting and fastest acting boost whether I'm working out, canoeing or kayaking, or cycling. When I feel a drop in energy these gels pick me right back up without taxing digestion during strenuous activity.
I've been using Clif Shot gels for a long time. All natural with the right amount of added electrolytes. Their Razzberry is my favorite of any gel and I never get flavor fatigue from it but I do wish they had another non-caffeinated fruit flavor.
I count on Clif gels and blocks to get me to the finish line or a tough day of training. I have been a happy Clif customer for years. The litter leash was a great invention and appreciate the company's environmental responsibility!
Can fit multiple up your bike bibs legs for easy access during rides/races, sits well in the stomach for pre-swim and during rides, not so well for runs (A little too intestinally stimulating!)
Tried the raspberry gel during a 21 mile trail run. I found it sweet and easy to get down. Since the Clif gels are thick, they aren't as messy as other gels.
