i used these test strips to confirm kidney damage. really unfortunate. dont ignore burning groin issues people especially if you are male. i thought my stomach just hurt, i am only 26 please test early!

It lines up pretty accurately with my last result from the doctor, but the results will vary depending on the amount of water you drink in the day. Overall it's a great product for a great price!

I recently had a test at my doctor and then did the at home test to try to check the accuracy and it was spot on. The test is so easy to use. The directions are clear and concise as are the interpretation of the results. It is very easy to use. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase or recommend this item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 10 and a type 1 diabetic since he was 5. As someone who's been in DKA we routinely have to check his urine for key-tones. I wasn't completely thrilled with the way the results looked. I did 2 tests at the same time. The results were different and the colors didn't match.

dip or pee on? Difficult to read squares, color change is spotty not consistent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I tried Clinistix Kidney Health Test Kit for the first time, I was a bit nervous before taking the test. The nervousness came mostly from the timely manner in which the test results needed to be read for accuracy. While the kit strips tested for both creatinine and albumin levels in the kidneys, it required quick and focused energy into obtaining accurate results. The strips which are activated by a urine sample were not exactly perfectly matched to the results on the bottle. I found there was a considerable margin of error due to the mere seconds in which the different levels needed to be read and compared to the bottle's baseline. I found the process a bit awkward and troublesome for the average person conducting this at home test. I did appreciate the streamlined approach to this test kit which included all items within the bottle itself. However, while the results are quick, the actual process and time sensitivity to getting the results read correctly was not an easy task for myself. Overall, I found the Clinistix Kidney Health Test kit to have a reading curve for the results, which were not so clear to me. In order to get better accuracy for both the creatinine and albumin levels, I would repeat the test and check for consistency.

directions are hard to follow. Online it says to follow instructions included in box, well their were no instructions in the box, only what it said on the bottle. I looked online for instructions and its says you have to check colors at 50 seconds and 60 seconds and you HAVE to be exact on the time, but, it doesnt say when the timer starts... does it start as soon as you pee on the stick or after you stop or after you wipe of the excess or ??? it says you may have a burst of color that goes away in seconds....well how am i supposed to know which color is right if i dont have an exact start time and it goes away that fast? It also has a chart that i am unable to understand, and i work at 2 hospitals. Its just very unclear. I had 2 colleagues look at the chart and say it does make sense. The "chart" on the bottle has a color chart for Albumin which does have an "N" indicating Normal but the other chart doesnt, No "N" for normal or "A" for abnormal, just colors and 's with numbers. Also, when i removed the strip from the bottle, some of them are different colors than others, so i am not sure of the accuracy and it says online that if they are discolored to discard them and use another strip. Well these things are $7.00 per strip...that gets expensive!!! AND it says, online, DO NOT REMOVE DESICCANT FROM BOTTLE...well, their IS NO DESICCANT IN THE BOTTLE...maybe thats why they are discolored?!?! Overall waste of money for me and, at $35.00 a bottle, thats a big waste of cash. NOTE: I included a picture of how small the instructions are on the outside of the box...i put it next to a dime so you can see how small and impossible it is to read. Maybe younger people can easily read this, but im 59 yrs old.

Positive test 3 times, actual urinine test results at lab came back negative
